My hope is to inspire people to live healthier, more wholehearted lives, through Ayurveda, yoga, and meditation. I began practicing yoga and meditation in 1996 and have been teaching since 2000. My yoga teaching draws from the Krishnamacharya lineage, having completed teacher trainings in Alignment, Ashtanga, and Therapeutic Yoga. I am registered with Yoga Alliance at the 500-E level. My primary teachers are Scott Anderson and Michael Stone. My classes integrate meditation and a mindful approach to asana that brings attention to anatomy, optimal alignment, breath, and inner awareness. This practice cultivates abounding health in body and mind while inspiring you to live a more grounded and compassionate life. If you prefer an individual or therapeutic approach, my private yoga lessons address the intricacies of adapting the practice to honor individual needs and health concerns. I am the Assistant Director and a lead instructor for Alignment Yoga’s teacher training programs. I offer a variety of trainings, workshops, and retreats, both locally and abroad. Additionally, I am a licensed massage therapist specializing in Neurovascular and Aroma Acupoint Therapy. My studies continue in Ayurveda, India’s science of longevity and health. I am currently enrolled in Kripalu’s School of Ayurveda and also have had the privilege of studying with Dr. Robert Svoboda and Dr. Claudia Welch. I have a deep love for travel, local food, and spending time with my pitbull Lucy. I look forward to working together. Gratefully, Andrea

This was a weekend to completely unplug from your daily life and focus on self-care and mindfulness, while creating community with like-minded people. Andrea is one of the best yoga instructors I've had in 12 years of yoga practice and is an excellent leader.
This was a wonderful experience. I knew it would be great with Andrea, but it exceeded my expectations! I loved every part of the retreat. The center was great, and the sisters were lovely,,,,wouldn't change a thing! Thanks so much :)
Loved it! Such a beautiful space. Everything about it was great; the people, food, trails, library, and all the space the Christine Center had to offer. Andrea is full of such great wisdom! I love learning with her
I learned so much over the weekend and was shocked at how quickly my mind settled and my body woke up! Thankful for the teaching by Michael Stone.
Extremely worthwhile and well organized event. A remote comfortable setting with a variety of delicious and nicely presented food.
