Come ReTreat yourself to a revitalizing day of yoga, food, and fun in the blooming hills and ocean at Green Gulch Zen center with Suzanne Zuber and Chrissy Graham. Unwind and release muscle tension as we flow through yoga poses beneath a canopy of Redwoods. Dive into restoratives and bio-feedback/meditation, allowing yourself to tap into the healing rhythms of nature. Enjoy an ample lunch break with a garden-sourced lunch and plenty of time to enjoy the lush gardens of Green Gulch and to stroll on beautiful Muir Beach. 


Each of the two-hour sessions (morning and afternoon) will include mindfully guided nature-inspired yoga flow, grounding poses, and inward practices that include pranayama, meditation, and yoga nidra. The movement portions are designed to open the hips, legs, shoulders and arms to enable a deeper experience of the 'sensing' sitting practices, and you will come away feeling free in your joints, muscles, and mind. Emerge from the amazing quiet of Green Gulch with new stress-reducing tools for your every-day life. You will start your week recharged, and ready to create a vibrant, joyful summer for yourself.


Green Gulch Zen Center is reachable by car in only 45 minutes! Make it a mini 'staycation'.

Arriving: 9:30, incl. time for tea

Morning session: 10:00-12:00

Lunch break: 12:00-3:00

Afternoon session: 3:00-5:30

    Yoga Poses (asanas) to open the body and remove energy blockages.
  • Mindful Flow:
    Intelligently sequenced yoga poses to get out of your mind and into your body (modification options included).
  • Yoga Nidra:
    Guided Relaxation and Rejuvenating Meditation.
  • Pranayama (breathwork)
    Guided practice of directing your breath for different effects (from energizing, to alerting your focus, to calming and releasing).
  • Restoratives
    Prop-supported resting poses that allow both muscles and the brain to recover from fatigue.
  • Meditation:
    Guided Mindfulness Practice.
  • Sleeping accomodations.
    However, by contacting Green Gulch Zen Center you can arrange to stay the night or the entire weekend for a longer retreat. This is highly recommended!

Lighthearted, fun, and passionate, Chrissy and Suzanne are well-known for their radiant positivity and expert instruction. They teach public and private classes, workshops, restorative yoga, kids' yoga, corporate yoga and Teacher Trainings worldwide. CHRISSY GRAHAM is a certified E-RYT 500 Yoga Instructor. Her focus is on alignment based movement with an emphasis on weight bearing poses to help students access a greater sense of their own bio-mechanics. Chrissy blends philosophy, therapeutics and dietary wellness into her classes. SUZANNE ZUBER, certified RYT 500 Yoga Instructor, brings her dance background into her alignment-based Hatha and Vinyasa classes. Her first priority is to help her students explore tools to release tension, grow strong to the core, and become well-aligned in body, mind, and spirit. Rather than 'pretzeling' our body into classical forms (asanas) and risking injury, she approaches these poses using balanced and healthy joint alignment and muscle activation.
