From Friday, May 10 to Sunday, May 12, join us for an all-inclusive yoga retreat designed to uplift your spirit and nourish your soul.

Nestled in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, Retreat Ranch is your haven for relaxation and rejuvenation. Retreat Ranch is a glamping paradise located on 50 acres of a working nature ranch outside of Marble Falls, TX. The ranch is a one-of-a-kind destination that offers incredible glamping amenities for relaxation. No detail has been missed!
From every vantage point, you can see acres of incredible oak trees and wide open spaces, breathe deep breaths and relax and rejuvenate.

The Return to Self retreat is a mosaic of mindful experiences crafted to cultivate calm with Soul Strong Yoga teachers Cindy, Jackie, Liasa, Maura, Maddie, Julie, and Jessica.
Attendees can expect to reclaim their calm by refocusing on wellness with our stress-relieving workshops, morning yoga and meditation in nature, and the incredible power of our yoga workshops.
Prefer more downtime to explore or chill in a hammock or the sauna? Perfect! All activities are optional, and attendees are encouraged to participate in the itinerary as much or as little as they like.
This retreat is not just an escape but a journey to self-discovery, relaxation, and a deeper connection with your inner self. Join us for an experience that promises to be as enriching and enlightening as it is relaxing and rejuvenating.
This Retreat is for:
We encourage participants to bring a yoga mat, a yoga blanket or beach towel, and a cushion to sit on (such as a meditation cushion, bolster, or similar). Some of these items will be onsite but please bring your favorites!
You may also wish to bring optional props, such as an eye pillow, and items that help you relax, etc.
In the weeks leading up to the retreat, we will send a “Know Before You Go” email with all the details, including what to pack. We've got you covered!
What else should I know?
Deposits are non-refundable and required to reserve your spot.
If you must cancel your registration:
Up to 90 days before the retreat, by February 10, 2024, you can cancel your registration and forfeit your deposit.
After 90 days from the start of the retreat, due to financial responsibility, we will not offer refunds (partial or full) under any circumstances.
You can coordinate and transfer your booking to someone else. You must reach out to Sound for Stress at soundforstress@gmail.com to provide the information of the person who will take over your reservation.
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your registration and booking fees. Some travel insurance companies offer “cancel for any reason” coverage. We know life happens, and trip insurance helps!
Cindy De Guzman, RYT-500
Cindy began practicing yoga as a way to escape, however quickly realized the transformative experience of being in the present. Cindy is drawn to the fluidity of a Vinyasa Flow and also cherishes the sweetness of Yin. In her classes, she often incorporates a well-intentioned playlist as a backdrop to breath and movement. Cindy proudly completed her 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher training at Soul Strong Yoga. Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Cindy and her family are planting roots in Texas. Welcoming all levels, she is excited and honored to serve the community on the mat.
Jackie Evans, RYT-500
Jackie is a 500-hour registered yoga teacher with a BA in Communication Studies. She found yoga as a way to de-stress and reconnect to her inner peace, love, and joy. Jackie is known for her compassion, calming presence, and clear instruction. She encourages self-growth and love while offering a variety of modifications and challenging variations in her classes. Through the practice of yoga and meditation, Jackie feels more peaceful, confident, and content, and she hopes to help others enjoy the same benefits and more.
Liasa Kian, RYT-200
Lisa fell in love with yoga 13 years ago during her first pregnancy. Prenatal yoga and postnatal yoga with infants quickly became staples in her life. She continued to practice yoga throughout the years and decided to begin yoga teacher training in 2019 so that she could share her love of yoga with others. Liasa is now a 200-hour registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. Her classes focus on mindfulness and intention to increase mind-body connection.
Maura Morrow, ERYT- 200
With her positive outlook, calming voice, and encouraging nature, Maura strives to create a classroom environment that is a breath of fresh air. Her classes are joyful, safe, and energizing, so her students can get in touch with their bodies, connect to their hearts and souls, and live with happiness and freedom. Maura has been practicing yoga for over 20 years since she first took a class to complement her college rugby career. She was immediately hooked. The physical, mental, and spiritual benefits supported her through 15 years of a bustling advertising career in New York City.
Maddie Pesoli, RYT- 500
Maddie first started practicing yoga to deal with the stress of college, which is why she became so dedicated to bringing yoga to as many people as possible. She is a firm believer that everyone can do yoga, so her inclusive classes are designed to help students discover how yoga can benefit them. Maddie creates invigorating flows that also help students understand the poses better. So don’t be shy, come and see how everyone can do yoga!
Jessica Cross, E-RYT-500, Certified Sound Practitioner and Trainer, Meditation Teacher
Jessica is a passionate sound practitioner, yoga teacher, and meditation teacher. She's a former corporate marketer and events producer for several Fortune 500 companies who found peace in the practices of sound, yoga, and meditation early in her career journey. Jessica later founded Sound for Stress, which offers rejuvenating sound baths, immersive retreats, and comprehensive sound training programs. She co-authored Seasons of Sound in hopes of fostering a sense of well-being and harmony through the transformative power of sound throughout the seasons of our lives.
Julie Afsahi, ERYT-500, Certified Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher, Certified Meditation Certified Sound Practitioner, Co-Founder of Soul Strong Yoga
Julie Afsahi is a mother, gong therapist, yoga and mindfulness teacher, entrepreneur, and chronic illness warrior. Perpetually looking for ways to increase wellness and ease for all people, Julie co-founded and owns Soul Strong Yoga, a yoga and meditation studio and training center with an emphasis on accessibility. As a co-creator of Seasons for Sound, with a commitment to providing quality learning resources for others in the wellness space, Julie loves sharing her love for sound healing practices rooted in yogic and Buddhist philosophy.
Chef Emeline Saint-Georges
Meet Chef Emeline Saint-Georges, a culinary enthusiast with a journey as rich and diverse as the flavors she brings to your plates and heart. Born and raised in the picturesque South West of France, Emeline's culinary odyssey began in the intimate setting of her parents' fine dining restaurant kitchen. There, she immersed herself in the art of gastronomy, learning and assisting from an early age. Seeking to transform her passion for cooking into a livelihood, Emeline enrolled in culinary school at the prestigious Alain Ducasse School in Paris. In 2017, she made the bold decision to relocate to Austin, Texas.. In addition to her culinary pursuits, Emeline is a proud and happy mother of three awesome kids. Her life is a harmonious balance of family, culinary exploration, and a commitment to the well-being of those she serves. Emeline Saint-Georges, a culinary artist on a mission to infuse joy and healing into every bite, welcomes you to savor the flavors of her journey at Soul Strong Yoga Retreat.
