Great trip for a solo traveler who wants to learn to surf! All of the staff were helpful and my coach Chepo was amazing. Chris was the other coach in our group and she was also extremely helpful. I enjoyed the food and the activities. I plan to return in February !

This retreat was everything and more. It was my first time away from my toddler. I was a bit worried initially but all those worries quickly disappeared after I arrived and was greeted by the most friendly and accommodating staff, incredible food and stunning location. It far exceeded any of my expectations! I was blown away by how quickly my surfing transformed in just a few days. It was a dream. I can’t wait to book another retreat.

Off the beaten path, away from tourists in the middle of a rain forest jungle, and perfect waves, this was a truly magical location. The team at Rise Up is the best - great feedback and guidance on surfing and all around lovely, cool group of people. This is my second Rise Up trip and both trips have been wonderful and can't wait to book another trip.

This was my second Rise Up Retreat and I can't wait to plan the third. The people are amazing, genuine, kind, and caring. The food amazing, accommodations fun and cozy, and the surf amazing. All of the staff have become friends of mine at the end of the trips and it's so hard to say see you soon. We surfed our hearts out this trip, and just had the best vibes all around with everyone on the trip.
