I loved this retreat. Yucca Shala is comfortable with surprising, innovative touches, leaning to wellness and rest. I loved the swings and shaded seating in front, the gardens along the side and amazing dining area in back. I was able to relax with the Sound Bath, and side trip to mineral springs in Desert Hot Springs. The meals were delicious, healthy and thoughtfully prepared. Laura is a smart and caring host; introducing us to her favorite spots in the desert, and leading intentional and healing group activities. I was so fortunate to be with new and old friends in a beautiful oasis.

Lovely, healing, restful, and engaging retreat. It brought such a fantastic variety of people from all backgrounds and ages, and it was so easy to meaningfully connect with each other as equals and share our experiences. The inner journey was magical both spiritually and within the body and their symbiotic connection. I felt rested and attuned. Highly recommend.

How can I even begin to describe what a beautiful experience I had. The food was over the top and everyone enjoyed the yummy deliciousness whether one was vegan, vegetarian, omniverous, or gluten free. The surrounds are incredible. The red rock hills, the river, the sunrise meditations. The only sad thing was leaving! The most important and best thing of the whole trip was Laura's beautiful leadership and the lovely lovely friends (old and new) who joined. I hope to come back with Laura again.

Oh Philip, it was so amazing to have you there. So amazing to travel together through time and space. It is truly what life is about. And this was a deeply magical group. I simply can't wait for next year!

The retreat in Yucca valley was amazing. The accommodations were good the bunkbed was so comfortable and sleeping with many people in one room was actually comforting. Everyone was kind and mindful about the nighttime noises and watched out what people needed to sleep well. The offerings : breath work, yoga classes and outings to explore the area were wonderful and supported the theme of the retreat. I learned so much and my body was soooooo happy to do yoga every day!!!!!! The mediations outside early in the morning before sunrise were outstanding and special to me, greeting the day and welcoming the sun is always a wonderful moment to set an intention for the day. The food was so yummy and healthy and warm and special, my body was so happy to be feed so well. Laura was so wonderful and made sure that everyone was taken care off, I felt seen and held in a wonderful group of people. And I could have alone time as well if I wanted. All around it was a life changing retreat for me, I am soooo happy that I went and I am looking forward to the next one!!!! Thank you Laura for your kind and amazing presence and all you do for the community. We love you!
