TRAVEL INSURANCE:

Insurance rates are based on total trip value (paid to SA SCUBA SHACK) as follows:

     Travel Ins 1:  Total Trip Value $2,001 - $3,000 (Plan Cost: $187)

     Travel Ins 2: Total Trip Value $3,001 - $4,000 (Plan Cost: $248)

     Travel Ins 3:  Total Trip Value $4,001 - $5,000 (Plan Cost: $313)

Trip Cancellation:  100% of Trip Cost ($15,000 limit).

Trip Interruption:    150% of Trip Cost ($22,500 limit).  Recover prepaid trip costs if a trip is canceled or interrupted.

Trip Delay:  Reimbursement for additional costs such as accommodations, transportation and meals if a trip is delayed 5 hours or more.

Equipment Delay:  Reimbursement for rental/purchase of sporting equipment if delayed for 24 hours or more.

Missed Connection:  Reimbursement for unused, non-refundable expenses and additional transportation to join the departed trip if connection is missed by 3 hours or more.

Baggage & Personal Effects:  Reimbursement for personal articles and expenses if bags are lost, stolen or damaged.

Baggage Delay:  Reimbursement for personal articles and expenses if bags are delayed for 12 hours or more.

 If plan is purchased AT OR BEFORE FINAL TRIP PAYMENT:

*  Pre-existing medical conditions are waived when full trip cost is insured and traveler is medically able to travel at the time of plan purchase.

*  Cancellation coverage when a tour operator, travel supplier, airline, hotel, etc. suspends operations due to insolvency.

:  If you are not completely satisfied within 15 DAYS of purchasing this plan, SA SCUBA SHACK will refund your premium cost, if you have not departed on your trip or filed a claim.  Trip Insurance cancellation request must be submitted in writing by email: info@sascubashack.com. 

• The $300 deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
• Additional payments received PRIOR to September 1, 2021 are refundable (minus applicable cancellation fees).
• All payments received on or after September 1, 2021 are NON-REFUNDABLE.
• Trip cancellations must be received in writing by traveler, or authorized representative, by submitting an email to info@sascubashack.com.
• Any cancellation received after September 1, 2021 will forfeit all funds collected.  Credit toward a future trip is not available.
• We highly recommend that each guest purchase comprehensive accident, trip cancellation/interruption insurance when space is reserved.    Furthermore, the uninsured guest will be responsible for any additional expenses incurred.

Cancellation Fees:  Cancellation charges are calculated on the date when the written cancellation is received, and as a percentage of the total price trip deposit paid, vendor credit card processing fees and ticketed airline flights, all of which are non-refundable if you cancel. All cancelled components within itinerary will incur a 20% administrative fee to be deducted from the refund amount.

Group roundtrip airfare with United Airlines is available at a discounted rate of $730 per person for economy seating.  Some of the group travel benefits is guaranteed fare rate (if ticketing completed), seat selection (if available), personal item and carry on allowed free of charge, eligible for seat upgrades through purchase or rewards points.

Proof of negative COVID 19 testing 72 hours prior to arrival into Honduras is required, if not fully vaccinated.  Vaccinated guests do not require testing for arrival.
