We had an incredible time. The boat was amazing and the diving was truly breathtaking. This was a once in a lifetime trip we will remember. The boat was built with divers in mind; a sun deck to work on my tan, hot water and a toilet on the dive boat, fresh towels and a bottle of water ready after every dive. There was no shortage of places to just sit and relax whether it was to get in a quiet nap or go over the photos from your dive. The rooms were comfortable and well cooled from the heat with the attached bathroom having all the amenities from home. Moosa and his crew were beyond professionals, their attention to detail was a step above anything I've ever seen. We laughed and joked the whole time with them! On a side note Moosa and Ali are some kind of shark men with how fast they swim and being able to see the smallest of ocean life. The dives themselves were so varied with tons of wildlife and coral diversity, it was a feast for the eyes. Some of the best diving we have done in our lives. Thank you to Loyda and the SA Scuba Shack for putting this together. We look forward to the next amazing place we go! And a big thank you to Moosa and his crew for their hard word that made this trip possbile. It truly was a once in a lifetime trip.

I had to cancel the trip due to the unrest in the area. Not able to secure air travel.

I have a good time although most of the dive sites have strong current and we need to use negative entry to get to the dive sites. Resulting most of divers got ear problems in these end of the trip. The service crews did an excellent job. Ditto to them. The food was good and plenty of it. To see the Mantas and Turtles up close are the best time. Recommend the rooms they are in need for upgrades. Ditto to dive guide name Ali. He is an expert in finding small marine creatures. Thanks,

Got in 7 more dives and learned a whole lot about controlling my own equipment. LOYDA was wonderful. Andrew and I had a wonderful time. Everyone on the trip was kind and helpful. The food was delicious and the accommodations were comfortable. We really enjoyed the experience and hope to go on many more trips in the future.

Husband Bobby (diver) and I (non-diver) both thoroughly enjoyed our August 2024 Roatan vacation, hosted by David Guernsey @ Mayan Princess Beach Resort. On-site dive crew was terrific, prompt boat escort to interesting collection of dive sites a few X every day. David, Dive Master & all around nice person was an expert in troubleshooting equipment, too. His expertise in all things people & gear was gr8ly appreciated. I enjoyed my time at the beautiful resort (not affected on cruise port days) & rented a local's car to explore the island on my own (safe!)....tropical botanical forest tour, hiking, beach walks, snorkeling in Sandy Bay & even played some pickleball! 3rd time to Roatan in the last 30yrs, so we noticed tourism has definitely amped up w/ the cruiseships & mainstream travelers. Main roads are paved now, clean water available everywhere, most speak English, air-conditioning, back up generators during storms, modern pool, clean gorgeous sandy beach (not overrun w/ Sargassum like Belize) on West End Bay. Tourist accessibility, however, has taken a toll on the reefs. Like all beautiful places on this planet, I hope efforts to preserve & protect become precedent. We <3 ROA
