Ashley Reed

Yoga entered Ashley’s life at a time when she needed it most, offering her a path to healing, self-discovery, and balance. After years of dedicating herself to a fast-paced career, she realized that she had been neglecting her physical, spiritual, and mental well-being. A chance encounter with a donation-based yoga studio in Downtown Los Angeles changed everything, sparking a deep passion for the practice that would ultimately reshape her life. As she deepened her practice, she realized that her community needed more spaces where wellness was not only prioritized but also culturally relevant and accessible.

Determined to share the transformative power of yoga with others, Ashley pursued her 200-hour teacher certification at Yoga Bliss, later expanding her expertise with an additional 50-hour certification from Lit Yoga and a 100-hour Rocket Yoga certification with BLM Rocket Yoga.

In 2024, Ashley’s vision came to life with the opening of Body Art Noire, a yoga studio in Inglewood where wellness meets culture and community. Her studio is more than just a place to practice—it’s a hub for collective healing, personal transformation, and holistic well-being. Through Body Art Noire, she continues to uplift and inspire, ensuring that yoga remains a tool for self-discovery and liberation for all who walk through the doors.

Naomi Hutchinson

Naomi Hutchinson is a Los Angeles based holistic healer, Yoga teacher and founder of holistic wellness company, Healthy+Well. She holds a BFA in Dance from The University of the Arts, a holistic health certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as well as certifications in Yoga, Mindfulness, Reiki, Plant Medicine and Trauma-Informed facilitation. Naomi is pleased to have worked with Nike, Cigna Healthcare, Tia, California State University and The National Coalition of Black Women to foster well being for diverse communities. Naomi finds immense joy in sharing holistic wellness practices with her community and offering them a safe space to be transformed through a nurturing and empowering approach.

Healthy+Well offers group yoga classes, workshops, retreats and corporate wellness programming to foster holistic well-being and increase its accessibility for communities of color.

FAQs

1. Where is the retreat located?

Our home for the week is a luxury wellness villa in Bali, Indonesia, surrounded by lush nature, peaceful energy, and authentic Balinese hospitality. The exact location and address will be shared with registered participants closer to the retreat dates.

2. When should I arrive and depart?

  • Check-in: Tuesday, June 23, 2026 (afternoon)

  • Check-out: Monday, June 29, 2026 (morning)

Roundtrip airport transfer from the Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) to the retreat villa is included in your package.

3. Do I need a visa to enter Bali?

Most travelers can enter Indonesia with a Visa on Arrival (VOA), valid for 30 days. Always confirm requirements for your nationality before travel. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure date.

4. What is the payment schedule?

  • A $500 non-refundable deposit secures your spot.

  • The remaining balance can be paid in 5 monthly installments through WeTravel.

  • All payments are due in full by April 11, 2026.

You’ll receive email reminders and can log in to your WeTravel dashboard at any time to view your payment plan.

5. What if I need to cancel?

Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations before February 24, 2026 may receive a 50% refund (minus deposit). After that date, all payments are non-refundable.


We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers trip cancellation and medical emergencies.

6. What happens if the retreat is rescheduled?

If unforeseen events (such as global restrictions, natural disasters, or venue issues) require us to change the retreat dates, your payments will automatically transfer to the new dates.
If you can’t attend the new dates, you can transfer your spot to another guest or use your credit for a future retreat within 12 months.

7. What is the daily schedule like?

Each day includes a balance of movement, rest, reflection, and cultural immersion.
A typical day may look like this:

  • Morning yoga & meditation

  • Nourishing breakfast

  • Midday workshops or excursions

  • Afternoon rest or healing session

  • Evening ritual, sound bath, or sunset circle

All activities are optional — this retreat is about honoring your body’s need for rest and spaciousness.

8. Can I come alone?

Absolutely! Many of our guests attend solo and leave with deep new friendships. We’ll thoughtfully pair solo travelers in shared accommodations unless you book a private room.

All double occupancy rooms include two separate beds so you can enjoy your own comfortable space while still sharing the room.


9. Is this retreat beginner-friendly?

Yes! All practices — yoga, meditation, and embodiment work — are accessible for all levels. Our facilitators guide with compassion, offering modifications and gentle encouragement every step of the way.

10. What should I pack?

We’ll send a detailed packing list closer to the retreat, but essentials include:

  • Lightweight, breathable clothing

  • Swimwear

  • Sunscreen, hat, and reusable water bottle

  • Comfortable sandals or walking shoes

  • Journal & pen

  • Open heart + willingness to rest 🌸

11. Can I extend my stay in Bali?

Absolutely! We encourage guests to explore more of Bali before or after the retreat. Our team can share recommendations for nearby hotels, cafes, beaches, and temples.

12. Will there be free time?

Yes — we intentionally build rest time into every day. Whether you want to nap by the pool, journal, or explore local shops, you’ll have ample space to move at your own rhythm.

Soft Landing

After your private airport transfer, you’ll be greeteded with a refreshing welcome drink and nourishing foot massage. In community, you'll ground with a relaxing sound bath to help clear travel energy and harmonize the group’s frequency. The day closes with a welcome dinner under the stars — the perfect invitation to exhale and arrive fully.

Rooted in Rest

We begin with a slow flow Yoga practice and a Nervous System Reset Workshop designed to help you soften tension and release stress. The afternoon invites indulgence with a Balinese spa session — massage and flower bath included — followed by our community dinner. Dressed in white, we share a family-style meal and an evening of journaling reflection under candlelight, celebrating connection and ease.

Sacred Waters

This day is devoted to renewal. After grounding Yoga and breakfast, we’ll venture out for a sacred Water Temple Purification Ceremony led by a local Balinese priest and guide. Upon returning to the villa, you’ll have space to integrate through rest or journaling before gathering again for dinner and community sharing.

Free to Be

You’ll awaken to the freedom of choice. Begin with an optional morning Yoga practice, then enjoy a self-guided day to explore Bali your way — from wandering Ubud’s vibrant cafés and markets to visiting local art galleries, beach clubs, or waterfalls. Optional Reiki, spa treatments, or simply relaxing by the pool are also available. This day is about honoring your body’s rhythm and allowing space for integration.

Pleasure & Play

Today celebrates joy and embodiment. We’ll begin with a playful Bali Swing excursion and a nature hike before returning to rest and creativity. In the afternoon, you’ll take part in a ritual of beauty — crafting flower crowns or candles. As night falls, we’ll gather for a Fire Dance Ceremony where movement and music open the heart and invite emotional release beneath the stars.

Embodiment

Our final full day invites you into embodied radiance. Enjoy a morning Vinyasa Yoga practice, followed by a Nutrition for the Feminine Body workshop offering practical tools for holistic nourishment. The afternoon allows time for rest, an optional farewell massage or Reiki session, and a group photoshoot by the pool. That evening, we’ll come together for our closing fire circle and celebration dinner — a sacred evening of gratitude, affirmations, and reflection.

Farewell

We’ll close our journey with a gentle Yoga and meditation practice before our final breakfast together. Departures are supported with organized airport transfers, closing hugs, and hearts full of gratitude for the community and serenity shared.
