Om Namashivaya!
Are you ready to experience the magic of Varanasi?
Early in the morning, we'll head towards Dashashwamedh Ghat, where you'll embark on a 45-minute boat ride on the River Ganges. As you cruise down the holy river, you'll witness the locals performing their daily activities, following rituals and traditions that have been passed down from generation to generation.
After the boat ride, you'll get to experience a walking tour of Varanasi, where you'll witness the vibrant culture and history of the city. The tour will take you from the Ghats back to your hotel, and you'll be able to soak in the sights, sounds, and smells of this ancient city.
Sarnath is a major Buddhist center in the world. It's the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon and set in motion the wheel of law, the Dharma-chakra. You'll get to explore the magnificent monuments and learn about the rich history of this holy site.
In the evening, we'll return to Varanasi, where you'll visit the famous Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple Corridor. The temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is a significant pilgrimage site for Hindus, and the corridor leading to it is adorned with intricate carvings and sculptures.
But the day doesn't end there. In the evening, we'll take a rickshaw ride and motorboat ride to witness the evening Aarti at Dasashwamedha Ghat on the River Ganges. The Aarti is a beautiful and spiritual ritual performed by priests, and the sight of the glowing diyas (lamps) and the chanting of mantras will leave you spellbound.
Finally, you'll end your day with a scrumptious dinner at your hotel, where you can unwind and reflect on the incredible experiences of the day.
