This “Saffron, Wine, Thalasso (Massages) Tour will take you from the sea to the sand dunes as you explore the hidden gems of Morocco . 


Sip and taste the most expensive spice in the world, the gourmet spice saffron, which you will find as you explore a saffron spice farm while dipping your feet in rose petals and argan oil.  Enjoy sundowners from the rooftop of a local riad in Marrakech.  Relax and unwind as you receive relaxing massage experiences throughout your tour.

Day 1 - May 24, 2024

Arrive in Casablanca & Transfer to Errachida

After landing at Mohammed V. International Airport in Casablanca, your private driver will transport you Errachidia


Upon arrival to Errachidia, your driver will transport yo to your accommodation. Unpack, then unwind with a welcome cocktail and dinner.

Sand Dunes in Merzouga

After breakfast drive 2 hours to Merzouga through the desert landscapes of Wadi Ziz. From Erfoud, the pink oasis town with 300,000 date palms, you will reach the snd dunes of Merzough.

In the Erg Chebbi, a pure desert experience awaits you: admire the sunset on camelback admits the sand dunes that are up to 100m high.

Tafilalet Region & Tinghir

Get up early(optional) to watch the shadow play on the sunrise over the desert and the dunes. After breakfast, you will travel three hours to the vast palm grove of the Tafilalet region.

We will visit a mausoleum and museum to lear more of the culture of the inhabitants of southern Morocco.

Upon your arrival in Tinghir, you can admire the famous palm grove and the Todra gorges, deeply cut in the rock and very winding.

Hot Air Balloon across Todra Gorge

This morning you will start with a Hot Air Balloon ride overviewing the world famous Todra Gorge with its up to 300m high rock walls.

You will explore nature with a short hike through the palm gardens and take a stroll trough the old Ksar, now beautifully restored in parts, or explore the centre with it’s women’s alley.

Transfer to Errachidia and Hammam (Massage)

Today you will transfer two hours from Tinghir to Errachida.

After settling into your lodging, you will visit a public Hammam where you will receive a scrub and full body massage.

Transfer Through Casablanca

Today you will take flight to Casablanca as we prepare to travel to Essaouira.

Travel to Essaouira

After a very scenic drive, first along the beautiful coastline, then into the hinterland, through organ trees and picturesque villages, you will reach Essaouira, the blue and white pearl of the Atlantic and one of the most beautiful cities in Morocco.

The old Portuguese city “Mogador” is an exciting place to explore easily on your own. Besides the beach and the sea, Essaouira (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004) offers a quiet medina with traditional handicrafts. In the narrow streets of the old town, you can watch carpenters making their fine wooden pieces.

Free to Explore in Essaouira & Hammam

Today you will have a free day to roam and purchase souvenirs I the former Portuguese port city of Mogador.

With the beach and sea a stone throw away, Essaouira, in the morning, the bustling port hosts a fish auction.

Discover the most important sites of this quiet town: the bastion of the port, the numerous old streets with their colorful shops, the house partly built in sandstone, the numerous painters galleries, the Sqala of the Kasbah with it’s bronze cannons and it’s unobstructed view of the Atlantic. 

Spend the rest of the day relaxing with another Hammam (Massage)


Day 9 - June 1, 20024

Argan Oil, Wine Tasting &Transfer to Marrakech

After breakfast in your road, depart to Marrakech on a three hour road trip. Since this is the land of Organ culture, you will have an opportunity to visit the women’s c0-operative of Argan oil, to experience how they extract the oil. End the afternoon  with a wine tasting at Domaine Val d’arcane.

After several stops to take photos, you will continue your travel to Marrakech and check-in to your riad before we enjoy walking within the famous square of Jamaa Elfna, entertained with magicians, story tellers, musicians and snake charmers

Day 10- June 2 , 2021

Visit Marrakech

This morning you will discover more of the “Pearl of the South”, as you visit monuments and pies such as: Saadian tombs, the Bahian Place, Koutoubia, Souks, Jamaa El Fena.

Enjoy your third massage which includes a facial and scalp massage.

After lunch at a restaurant near the square, you will walk through the souks and view hundreds of handicrafts. In the afternoon, you will have some free time to walk y yourself and see Marrakech as you like.

Anima, Paradis du Safran & Massage

Nestled in the foothills of the spectacular High Atlas Mountains, Anima Garden is a space designed by multimedia artist Andre Heller. Surprising sculptures of magical charters are hidden amongst the shady pathways and flowerbeds filled with wildflowers, cacti, water features, palm trees and tall grass. 

Next you will transfer to the aromatic organic garden, “Paradis du Safran”, containing  the medicinal plant Safran. In this saffron garden, you will walk and learn all about saffron and medicinal and aromatic plants that berbers used and still use as medicinal herbs. 

Enjoy your last evening in Morocco replaying new memories made!

Depart Mama Africa

Take time and reflect on your visit to Morocco while enjoying a signature, departure breakfast. Afterwards we will head to the airport for your departure home.
