About this trip
Santa Fe, New Mexico is a place filled with art, design and culture. This mystical and historic town is filled with adobe buildings, kivas, landscapes and street photography. Our creative based workshop will immerse you in art and help you find your inner artist! We will stay in the heart of Santa Fe at the historic Inn and Spa at Loretto. Photography learning begins with inspiring locations and taught by photo artists. We hope you will join us, and create new photographs that will continue to inspire you!

*Beginners must have a good working knowledge of their camera and settings

Many photo sessions will take place in downtown Santa Fe. You must be able to walk the streets and carry your camera equipment up to 2 miles per session. The trails to historic kiva’s are 1 mile round trip and considered moderate. Small ladders descend into the kivas which we access that require you to climb down ladders. You must be in general good health to participate in our workshops.

Day 1
SEPT 13
Meet & Greet 7:00pm Inn and Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe
Day 2
SEPT 14
We begin our workshop by walking through downtown Santa Fe in the early morning hours. We will witness and capture light play that the sun creates as it rises. We will photograph architecture, art and history throughout the day.
Day 3
SEPT 15
We will visit Pecos National Park and photograph the historic ceremonial kivas. The light that streams down into these underground sites creates stunning imagery. We will photograph light, color, black & white and Canyon Road that has inspired artists throughout history.
Day 4
SEPT 16
Today we will photograph historic buildings photographed by Ansel Adams in and around Taos, NM. We will visit and photograph a pueblo, and return to Santa Fe for a creative processing class.
Day 5
SEPT 17
Our final morning will be spent wandering the soft light filled streets and buildings in the heart of downtown Santa Fe.
