Thank you for your interest in Sarga Bodywork! Please be sure to read all of the information listed here. This course is a special retreat-style gathering for Sarga 101 in Belfast, Maine! Join TWO veteran Sarga Bodywork instructors, Lisa DiGirolamo and me, for 5 days in a gorgeous and peaceful location for learning. 7 students can register with me, and 7 students can register with Lisa, so we will take a maximum of 14 students.
Why 5 days instead of our usual 4 days for Sarga 101? So we can do a half day on day one, and include a 2-hour sunset cruise that evening! (Be sure to add that option before checkout.) It also gives you more time to explore the local area on other days.
Our host venue, the Fireside Inn & Suites, offers water views from every room, beach access, and an indoor pool and sauna. It is also just a 5-minute drive to downtown Belfast, where you can visit all the local shops, restaurants, and walk along the harbor path, saying hello to the local loons (the birds, not the people! 😂 ) Arielle and I have reserved a room block for students at 10% off. When you call the inn to book your room, just mention the Sarga 101 course to receive the discounted rate.
Lastly, this is a HYBRID raised-table/ floor course. There will be a maximum of 7 workspaces. We will have 4 raised tables, and 2 floor set ups. The 7th workspace can be floor or table, to be determined by the students' preference.

Student weight and fitness as it relates to classroom safety and the capacities treatment equipment used in the classroom:
Sarga Bodywork understands that weight alone does not determine fitness, balance, or capability. However, for safety reasons, we ask that you inform us if you are outside of the biometrics listed below. We will inquire further to ensure that the techniques taught in our courses can be performed safely and within the working limits of our equipment. This is highly important since the Sarga Silk allows practitioners to generate additional force beyond bodyweight. Please note that being outside of these biometrics does not necessarily exclude you from our course offerings! If you would like to discuss these options, please contact me at lisa@sargabodywork.com.
