This workshop is centred around Seville, one of the most atmospheric and photogenic cities in Europe, with a short visit to nearby Córdoba to experience one of Spain’s most remarkable architectural spaces.
Designed for photographers who want more than simply ticking off locations, this experience is about slowing down, exploring at a comfortable pace and creating meaningful images while fully enjoying the culture, food and atmosphere of Andalusia.
Across the workshop we’ll photograph vibrant streets, dramatic architecture, intimate details and the beautiful changing light that makes southern Spain such a joy to shoot. From the winding lanes of Santa Cruz to evening light along the Guadalquivir River, Seville offers endless inspiration for photographers who enjoy colour, atmosphere and storytelling.
As with every Light, Colour & Culture workshop, the balance matters. Early morning shoots are followed by time to relax over coffee and tapas, with space to enjoy the city rather than rush through it.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Small group experience with plenty of individual guidance
• Street, travel, architectural and atmospheric photography
• Sunrise and sunset shooting sessions
• Relaxed pace with downtime built in
• Help with composition, camera settings and creative vision
• Friendly, informal approach suitable for all experience levels
SEVILLE
We’ll explore the historic Santa Cruz district, photograph the stunning Plaza de España, wander through lively neighbourhoods and capture the city as it transforms after dark. Rooftop viewpoints, hidden courtyards, cafés and quiet side streets all become part of the photographic story.
Expect rich colours, dramatic shadows, authentic street scenes and endless opportunities for creative photography.
CÓRDOBA
During the workshop we’ll also make a short visit to Córdoba, home to the extraordinary Mezquita — one of the most impressive architectural landmarks in Europe.
This half-day experience offers a chance to photograph its famous arches, beautiful details and unique atmosphere while also enjoying a brief wander through the historic old town.
