SHIFT Breathwork is a conscious breath awareness process that offers a multitude of benefits for physical and mental well-being. When we SHIFT our BREATH, we shift our life. The benefits of breathwork include stress reduction, better sleep, strengthened immune system, reduction in chronic pain, and improved respiratory function. This transformative practice also promotes awareness, self-regulation and deep personal transformation, with the intention of enhancing inner peace, creating clarity and cultivating purpose and overall well being.
This two day workshop is an experiential training course in the transformative power of breathwork. Participants will develop confidence in their abilities in apply breathwork to themselves as well as integrate breathwork into other spaces (counseling, healing arts, yoga, wellness, coaching, etc.).
1. Breathwork Foundations and Techniques
• Understanding the science of breath and its connection to the nervous system.
• Learning different breathwork styles (e.g., diaphragmatic breathing, box breathing, circular breathing) and how to apply them in various situations.
2. Stress Management and Emotional Regulation
• Techniques to reduce stress and anxiety by shifting the body out of a fight-or-flight state.
• Strategies for processing and releasing stored emotions using the breath.
3. Building Self-Awareness and Presence
• Developing mindfulness and body awareness through intentional breathwork.
• Enhancing the mind-body connection to identify patterns and triggers.
4. Energy Optimization and Performance Enhancement
• Using breathwork to increase energy, focus, and mental clarity.
• Balancing and regulating energy to avoid burnout and improve productivity.
5. Facilitating Personal Transformation
• Exploring how breathwork can support healing, clarity, and deeper self-understanding.
• Integrating breathwork into daily life to foster alignment, resilience, and purpose.
