About your trip

This trip is about packing your sea kayak and wild camping on a remote spot. Aimed at paddlers with some experience looking for a camping and paddling adventure.

We have four days to experience wild camping from your sea kayak - based around Isle of Bute, Arran and the Firth of Clyde on the west coast of Scotland.

  1. Four days sea kayaking on west coast of Scotland

  2. Wild camping for two nights*

  3. Skills coaching

  4. Suitable for paddlers with some existing sea kayaking skills

  5. Great opportunity for those new to camping from your kayak

  6. Learn what, and how to pack and how to stay warm, comfortable for a few days away from it all.

* The itinerary will be tailored for the weather forecast.

Pre-trip zoom

Day 0 meet and greet in the aft/evening - location tbc. Discuss the plans starting the next day. Answer any last minute questions.

Day 1 - our first paddling day and skills refresher and a chance to look at kit for our camping.

Day 2 and 3 - We have plenty of time for packing our kayaks. We aim to paddle for about 3-5 hours, with the necessary breaks for food and rests. Set up camp.
