Organization was good, food was great and the beds were comfy. Suggestions for improvement: - decrease the group, 30 pax is way too much - check the fitness level of participants, it was too much for some of them and they were significantly slowing the whole group - added value of the guides was zero. They were just accompanying the group, but didn’t tell anything about the volcano, culture, history, local life, nature, etc.

I really apreciated the professionalism of the principal guide, Carlos and the rest of the team Vida, Audi, Jefferson, Fili - just to name a few. The champ is located in a very strategic manner with a super view to the aqua volcano and fuego ! Also kudos to CA travelers for hiring females porter - I appreciated the job opportunity given to women as well as the local composition of the team 😊

Smooth ride from Pana to Antigua !

Start to finish, this was an incredible experience with CA Travelers, and we’re so grateful to the entire team. Leo was great in walking us through everything ahead of time, which made the whole process feel seamless and well-organized. Our guides, Silvan and two others whose names I unfortunately don’t remember, were all fantastic. They were encouraging, attentive, and created a really supportive environment for everyone, whether you were a fast, medium, or slower hiker. They made sure we felt safe, in control, and well taken care of throughout the hike. The porters, Jeffrey and Paola, were also amazing, really friendly and encouraging every step of the way, and made a big difference in the overall experience. The logistics were excellent. They were very punctual, provided altitude sickness medication when needed, and allowed us to take plenty of breaks along the way. All the meals were great, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even the hot chocolate at camp were highlights. Visibility of Fuego wasn’t great when we first arrived at base camp, but the team gave us the space to make a group decision on whether to summit. We decided to go for it, and they were incredibly supportive and motivating the entire way. They were also very accommodating in a situation where we didn’t have cash on hand before the hike, and allowed us to pay later at the agency office. We really appreciated the flexibility, especially knowing this isn’t typically how things are handled. Overall, an amazing experience. Would absolutely recommend CA Travelers to anyone considering the hike.
