We’re heading to Oman, ladies-and this 8 day journey is all about culture, calm, connection, a touch of luxury… and a sprinkle of adventure too.

This trip is a balance of budget and luxury. It’s your well-deserved post-Ramadan gift to yourself.

We’ll be staying in gorgeous hotels on a breakfast basis with one dinner included in the desert.

From the moment we land in Muscat, we’ll feel the warmth of Omani hospitality wrap around us. Over the week, we’ll wander through fragrant souqs, explore majestic mosques, swim in turquoise wadis, cross golden dunes, enjoy Omani restaurants and cafes, and even sail through protected island waters. Don't forget to pack your burkini!!!

This itinerary blends boutique comfort with touches of luxury while keeping things deeply authentic-a curated balance of nature, culture and meaningful encounters with the people who call Oman home.

This itinerary is subject to change dependent on weather, and any circumstances out of my control, so please come with an open heart, be flexible, and ready to embrace the experience.

Group travel is not for everyone, so please be ready to go with the flow and make the most of this trip!

Please note, rooms are based on double sharing with another sister, if no rooms are available to share, you will need to purchase the single supplement add on, (£580) so please be aware of this at your time of booking.

If there is nobody available to share with, I will reach out to you to make this arrangement to pay for the single supplement for the duration of the trip.

FLIGHTS

You're advised to take a flight to arrive on Sunday 22nd March. This may mean flying out the day before on Saturday 21st March. Airport is Muscat International.

You're advised to take the latest flight departing on Sunday 29th March, so as not to miss out on anything on the last day and make the most of the 5* hotel!

Round trip transfers are covered from airport and from hotel.

Depending on all arrivals, our guides will welcome you at the airport and we'll transfer to the hotel and check in.

Today is a rest day, enjoy the hotel, the private beach, relax and make the most of the surroundings, before we start our trip tomorrow.

Get ready to immerse yourselves in the vibrant heart of Oman's capital, a city of dazzling contrasts and timeless beauty!

Morning Exploration: We’ll begin with a visit to the breathtaking Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, a true architectural marvel. Then, it’s on to the bustling Muttrah Souk, where you can lose yourself in the scent of frankincense and hunt for unique treasures before a lovely stroll along the Muttrah Corniche.

Afternoon Culture: We’ll capture picture-perfect moments at the striking Al Alam Palace, flanked by the historic Al Jalali & Al Mirani Forts.

A quick stop at the Royal Opera House and a fascinating visit to the National Museum will beautifully tie together Oman’s incredible story.

Magical Evening: As night falls, we head to the sea for a truly enchanting experience: watching the water glow with natural bioluminescence! (Should nature have other plans, we’ll enjoy a relaxing 30-minute boat ride along the coast instead.)

Today is all about Oman’s stunning natural wonders!

After a hearty breakfast we're out for an early start.

Our adventure begins at the spectacular Bimmah Sinkhole! We’re diving into a breath taking limestone crater filled with sparkling turquoise water for an unforgettable and refreshing swim.

Next, we’ll journey to the legendary Wadi Shab. We’ll embark on a beautiful hike through a dramatic gorge, rewarded with a series of crystal-clear pools perfect for swimming. For the truly adventurous, a short swim through a narrow opening reveals a hidden cave with a cascading waterfall inside, pure magic!

Feeling exhilarated, we'll then drive to the historic coastal town of Sur.

We’ll dive into Oman’s seafaring soul, discover a hidden oasis, and then surrender to the breath-taking majesty of the golden desert.

Our day begins in Sur, a city with a soul tied to the sea. We'll visit the legendary Dhow Factory to witness skilled artisans crafting the magnificent wooden vessels that have sailed these waters for centuries—a true testament to Oman's rich maritime heritage.

Next, we escape to a true desert paradise: Wadi Bani Khalid.

Picture vast, emerald-green pools surrounded by lush palm trees and smooth, white rock formations. It’s the perfect spot for a blissful swim and soaking up the serene beauty of this stunning natural oasis.

As the afternoon sun begins to mellow, the real adventure begins!

We head deep into the mesmerizing Wahiba Sands for an unforgettable sunset tour.

Adrenaline & Culture: Feel the thrill of dune bashing in a 4x4, try your hand at sandboarding down the silky slopes, and enjoy a serene camel ride as the sun paints the sky.

We'll also visit a Bedouin house for a genuine glimpse into their timeless desert lifestyle.

Elevate Your Adventure (Optional): For a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience, soar above the dunes at sunrise in a hot air balloon (90 OMR per person). Watching the desert awaken from this vantage point is pure magic.

* Details: We’re glamping in style! Settle into your Luxury Tent nestled among the dunes. Take a dip in the incredible swimming pool—a true oasis!—before we gather for a delicious dinner all included under a spectacular canopy of stars.

Get ready to elevate your adventure—literally! Today, we ascend into Oman's magnificent highlands, a world of ancient villages, terraced gardens, and jaw-dropping canyon views that will leave you breathless.

Our journey begins with a walk through time in the atmospheric village of Birkat Al Mouz. We’ll wander through the hauntingly beautiful ruins of its old town and marvel at the incredible UNESCO-listed Aflaj irrigation system—a testament to ancient ingenuity that still breathes life into lush date palm plantations.

Then, we climb! We’re heading up to the cool, crisp air of Jebel Akhdar, the legendary "Green Mountain." Prepare for spectacular scenery as we explore its famous terraced farms where roses and pomegranates flourish. We’ll visit charming, traditional villages clinging to the mountainside and stand in awe at Diana's Point, an iconic viewpoint offering absolutely stunning panoramic vistas of the canyons below.

Your Nizwa stay:

* Details: After a day in the mountains, we’ll settle into our welcoming hotel in the historic city of Nizwa. It's the perfect, cozy base to rest and recharge before we dive into the cultural heart of Oman tomorrow

Today, we’re diving into the vibrant, beating heart of Omani culture! Get ready to immerse yourselves in the historic city of Nizwa for an experience that is authentic, lively, and utterly unforgettable.

Our day kicks off with the electric buzz of the famous Nizwa Goat Market!

We’ll dive right into this bustling, age-old spectacle, witnessing the lively bartering and community spirit that makes this a must-see Omani tradition.

Next, we’ll step back in time at the magnificent Nizwa Fort. We'll climb its massive circular tower for incredible panoramic views of the city and its lush oasis.

Then, it's time to explore the enchanting Nizwa Souq, where we’ll wander through alleyways filled with the scent of spices and discover exquisite silver jewelry, intricate pottery, and unique souvenirs.

We’ll complete our historical tour with a stroll through the charming Al Aqr Heritage Village, admiring its traditional mudbrick homes.

Energized by our cultural deep-dive, we’ll journey back to the sophisticated energy of Muscat.

Morning Aquatic Adventure: We’re heading out to the incredible Daymaniyat Islands, a protected marine nature reserve and a true snorkeler's paradise!

We’ll dive into crystal-clear waters to explore a vibrant underwater world. Keep your eyes peeled for graceful sea turtles, dazzling schools of colourful fish, and maybe even a friendly dolphin!

Don't worry about packing gear—all snorkeling equipment is included!

Afternoon, Your Way: The afternoon is yours to design. Relax and recharge at our beautiful hotel, or indulge in an exclusive escape!

Optional: For a unique treat, head to Sirena Beach Lounge, a stunning women-only sanctuary (entry fee: 25 OMR) for an afternoon of pure relaxation and seaside bliss.

An Evening to Remember: As golden hour approaches, we’ll board our boat for a magical sunset cruise.

Feel the gentle sea breeze as we sail along Muscat’s stunning coastline, watching the sun dip below the horizon in a blaze of colour. It’s the perfect, serene end to an incredible day.
