Hello lovely ladies,
I’m excited to personally invite you on an unforgettable 10-day adventure with Sistours to Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife spots and stunning beaches.
Your journey begins the moment you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where our friendly team will be ready to welcome you and whisk you off to your comfortable accommodation in Arusha or Moshi. Relax and get ready for the exciting days ahead.
We’ll explore Ngorongoro Crater — a UNESCO World Heritage Site often called the “Garden of Eden” thanks to its incredible wildlife and lush landscapes. Here, you’ll have the chance to see the Big Five and so much more during thrilling game drives.
Next, we head to the legendary Serengeti National Park, home to the awe-inspiring Great Migration and year-round wildlife spotting.
For something truly special, you can opt for a hot air balloon safari, soaring above the vast plains and herds below.
For a taste of adventure, we’ll take a day hike along Kilimanjaro’s Shira route. While we won’t summit, the breathtaking views and varied landscapes will stay with you forever.
We’ll also visit the charming village of Materuni to see the spectacular waterfalls and experience the full coffee journey — from picking the beans to roasting your perfect cup — all while connecting with the warm Chagga community.
Finally, we’ll unwind on the pristine beaches of Zanzibar. Imagine white sands, turquoise waters, and the perfect mix of relaxation and exploration — whether you want to snorkel, soak up the sun, or discover local culture.
I can’t wait to share this incredible journey with you — it’s the perfect blend of adventure, culture, and connection, all wrapped up in the beautiful Tanzanian landscape.
With love,
Aisha

Today, our adventure truly begins as we board a scenic flight from Arusha Airport to the iconic Serengeti National Park — one of the most celebrated safari destinations in the world.
On arrival, your expert safari guide will be ready and waiting to whisk you off on your first game drive. As we journey across vast plains, through acacia-dotted woodlands and along winding rivers, you’ll start to feel the magic of the Serengeti all around you.
Keep your eyes peeled for the incredible wildlife — herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles grazing freely, while lions, leopards, and cheetahs quietly observe from the shadows. Every turn brings a new moment to savour, a new story unfolding in this spectacular landscape.
As the sun begins to dip, we’ll head to the stylish Mberesero Central Serengeti Lodge, where you can relax, recharge, and take in the golden sunset with a glass in hand — the perfect end to your first day on safari.
Accommodation: Mberesero Central Serengeti Lodge
Meals: Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner
After an early breakfast, we’ll head out from the lodge with our packed lunches for a full day exploring the incredible Central Serengeti.
We’ll start nice and early — this is when the wildlife is at its most active, before the midday heat sets in.
The Seronera region is one of the best spots for big cat sightings, so keep your eyes open for lions, leopards and cheetahs as we explore the area’s rivers, kopjes and open plains.
Expect to see plenty of zebras, wildebeest and elephants too, all moving across the savanna against a stunning backdrop of wide skies and rocky outcrops.
We’ll also visit the hippo pools and enjoy a bit of birdwatching by the waterholes.
Midway through the day, we’ll stop for a relaxed bush picnic — a chance to soak it all in, surrounded by the sounds and scenery of the Serengeti.

Today we dive even deeper into the magic of the Central Serengeti.
We’ll kick off with a sunrise game drive — it’s the golden hour for photos and the perfect time to catch the wildlife as the day begins.
The Seronera region is known for dramatic predator-prey encounters, so stay alert for exciting moments — a lion on the move, a cheetah stalking, or a leopard lounging in the shade of a tree.
We’ll spend the day exploring a mix of landscapes, from lush riverbanks to endless grasslands. Keep a lookout on the kopjes too — those rocky outcrops are favourite spots for big cats to rest and scan the plains.
Every turn brings something new and unexpected — this is what makes the Serengeti so unforgettable.

This morning, we say goodbye to the majestic Serengeti and make our way towards the iconic Ngorongoro Crater — one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders.
As we journey across the plains, keep your eyes open for any final wildlife sightings.
Then, descend 600 metres into the world’s largest unbroken caldera, home to an astonishing concentration of wildlife including elephants, lions, rhinos, zebras, and more.
A game drive here offers unforgettable moments in a truly unique ecosystem, with sweeping views of crater lakes, forests, and grasslands.
Before heading back to Arusha, we’ll visit a traditional Maasai village.
Here, you'll be welcomed by the community and get a glimpse into their vibrant cultural life — from their dress and dance to their deeply rooted traditions. It’s a beautiful, enriching exchange that adds depth and humanity to your Tanzanian journey.
As the day winds down, we return to Arusha for a well-earned rest.

Get ready for a rewarding day on the legendary slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro with a guided hike along the scenic Shira Route.
We’ll drive to the Morum Barrier Gate (3,600m), where our trek begins.
From here, we’ll set off across the striking Shira Plateau, taking in sweeping views, unique high-altitude flora, and the vast open terrain.
As we ascend to a max altitude of 3,962m, you’ll notice the change in landscape and air — a real taste of what climbing Kilimanjaro feels like, without going all the way to the summit.
Our experienced local guide will be with us every step, sharing insights about the region’s natural beauty and keeping us safe and steady as we go.
After taking in the views and snapping a few well-earned photos, we’ll descend back to the Morum Barrier, where our vehicle will be waiting to take us back to Moivaro Safari Lodge in Moshi.
It’s the perfect mix of adventure and achievement — and you’ve officially walked on one of Africa’s most iconic peaks!
Note: The Shira route includes a quick high-altitude drop-off, which can feel challenging for some due to limited acclimatisation time. However, the views and landscape make it more than worthwhile.

Afterwards, we’ll join the warm and welcoming locals for a traditional coffee-making experience.
From picking and roasting to grinding and sipping, you’ll learn the full journey of Tanzanian Arabica beans — with plenty of singing and stories along the way!
In the afternoon, we’ll catch a short flight from Arusha to magical Zanzibar.
Once we land in historic Stone Town, you’ll check in to the charming Tembo House Hotel, right by the sea. The evening is yours — unwind, take a stroll, or soak up the island vibes at your own pace.

It’s a fascinating insight into how this coastal island became a key centre for the spread of Islam in the region.
After lunch, we’ll leave the winding alleys of Stone Town behind and make our way to the peaceful northern coast of Zanzibar, arriving in Nungwi.
Your seaside resort offers the perfect escape — serene, modest, and alcohol-free, ideal for women seeking space to relax and unwind.
Spend the rest of the day as you please — stroll along the palm-lined beach, take a dip in the turquoise sea, or simply breathe in the tranquillity of island life.
