Our tour begins with a visit to Ljubljana, Slovenia’s historic capital and a Welcome Dinner featuring local cuisine. We will venture to Lake Bled in the Julian Alps and the port city of Koper. Crossing into Croatia, we will headquarter in the beautiful coastal city of Rovinj, and visit local wineries, olive oil, cheese, and truffle producers and explore the hillside town of Motovun all located on the Istrian peninsula. Heading south along the Dalmatian coast, we will stay in Split, Croatia’s second largest city and ferry access to several islands. While in Split, you will tour the famous Diocletian Palace complex, plus test your culinary skills at a cooking class. A side trip will include a visit to the island of Hvar with its epic lavender fields. Continuing south, you will harvest oysters in beautiful Mali Ston, and see the Walls of Ston, constructed in the 14th Century. The tour will conclude in Dubrovnik, the Pearl of the Adriatic with planned activities in the old city and a Farewell Dinner.
