I had a great time, the animals were cool, took awhile but we definitely got the full treatment with mobulas. The casita were so lively, great setting and very nice rooms. Meals were local, fresh, and varied. The wine was not all that great. Sara was very nice, informative, and a good guide. Very attentive to our needs and questions. The boat rides were some times quite long before finding animals, 2 hours some days. Pretty scenery tho. I had a great time on and in the water, despite the sailing times. I took a Freediving course in advance for this trip and bought some gear. Dive Ninjas also offered these courses in advance of the trip. As it turned out, while one could freedive with the animals, that drives them deeper. Since everyone else on the trip was a snorkeler, it would have been bad form to drive the animals farther from the surface viewing. It may be best to make some kind of statement in future trips that clarifies the etiquette. There were other patrons from other boats freediving and driving the rays deeper out of camera and viewing range. Seemed kind of rude to my Girls that Scuba companions. One down side, the boat captain, who was very knowledgeable as to where the animals would be, was a smoker. I understand the need but we were trapped on the boat with that. One day he lit up while standing directly over a full, spare gas tank. There was gas spillage on the top of the tank so, this was alarming. I moved to the back of the boat in case I needed to make a quick exit off the back. Aside from these critiques, 5 stars. Thanks for the great time.

Lots of fun on the Mobula trip. Dive Ninjas were friendly and well-organized. Accommodations were lovely. Although the mobulas were a bit elusive, we did have one lengthy and memorable morning with them. Our guide and captain worked hard to find blues whales, whale sharks, sea lions, and lots of dolphins. Despite these positive experiences, I have one very strong negative comment: why the f&$k did the captain think it was ok to smoke on the boat with a fuel cannister located a few feet away? Very dangerous for everyone! He was also cavalier about several other safety issues, but smoking near a can of fuel on a small boat is shocking. He put everyone's life at risk. Completely unacceptable.

This was a great trip. The location was away from touristy Cabo and absolutely gorgeous. Our accomodations were very comfortable. Our guide, Victoria, and captain, Beto, love they work and it was contagious. The migration was breathtaking and Sea of Cortez's rich biodiversity blessed us with many other animals...including Orcas. I still can't believe that we were in the water with them. So huge and so indifferent to us. Obviously they can't guarantee this experience but I will forever be grateful.

We met wonderful new friends and had a leader that was amazing! Bonus- we encountered 7 orcas and were able to swim with them! What a fabulous trip!

It was a great trip with wonderful people. The time on the boat was advertized as a couple hours in the morning and a couple hours in the late afternoon. Instead it was 5 to 6 hours in the morning. For me that length of time was not ideal.
