Song of the Yogi is a transformative 50-hour immersion by Talia Sutra that unites the embodied, philosophical, and devotional paths of yoga into one integrated experience.
Rooted in the teachings of PataƱjaliās Yoga SÅ«tra and the discipline of the Ghoį¹£ lineage, this course invites you to explore the spaces between movement and stillness, sound and silence, effort and ease.
You will chant, study, and embody the second chapter of Yoga SÅ«tra SÄdhana PÄda, the heart of PataƱjaliās Aį¹£į¹Äį¹
ga Yoga or Eight-Limbed Path.
Through daily practice, refined technique, and sincere inquiry, the teachings move from the intellect into lived experience.
This is more than a training; it is a sÄdhana guided by sound, discipline, intelligence, and love.
You will be supported by a global community of sincere practitioners, immersed in genuine practice.
You will be able to ask questions, engage, and have the full support of the LAAIC Team.
You will be able to attend live and/or watch the class recordings at your own pace. Recordings will be saved for one month after their original showing. You will receive a beautiful digital manual, as well as recordings of the sÅ«tras and mantras learned during the courseāyours to keep for life.
You will receive digital notes after each class, along with daily homework meant to move you deeper into your sÄdhanaāyour spiritual practice.

Dive into Talia Sutraās unique methodologies to Backbending, Inversions, Flexibility and Stability, bandhas and more. And explore in depth the Ghoį¹£ lineage and the Classic 26 postures, a sequence designed to cultivate inner and outer strength, stability, and grace.
Each posture and breath will be explored through detailed lectures, demonstrations, and guided practice, allowing students to move beyond form into essence.
Philosophy and Study:
Delve into PataƱjaliās Yoga DarÅana, focusing on SÄdhana PÄda, where the Eight Limbs of Yoga are revealed as a complete spiritual path.
Through guided study, reflection, and discussion, youāll contemplate the nature of mind, the cultivation of sattva (abhyÄsa and vairÄgya), the obstacles and solutions in the way of realization.
Chanting and Mantra:
Daily chanting of SÄdhana PÄda, with focus on precise Sanskrit pronunciation and intonation, will allow you to experience the vibrational power of the text. SÅ«tra chanting becomes meditation and sharpens memory, intelligence and speech.
Subtle Anatomy:
Discover how to stabilize both body and mind through bandhas, the paƱca- vÄyus, and the cakra system.
Taliaās clear and subtle approach bridges the energetic and physical, guiding you into refined and powerful awareness within every Äsana.
Physical Anatomy:
In collaboration with Dr. Rose Erin Vaughan, explore the functional anatomy of select Ghoį¹£ lineage postures and yogic breathing.
