We loved every part of our two months with Niños de Guatemala! I felt extremely supported by all members of the staff, from navigating the local transportation to finding a good homestay to exploring options for local sports leagues (I recommend pickleball... who knew you would find this in Antigua!).
More than anything, you walk away from your time with Niños de Guatemala with a full heart. Get ready for 24/7 hugs from kids, opportunities to use your skills to make a difference, and an unforgettable volunteer experience!

I had an incredible experience at Niños de Guatemala. The volunteer coordinator, Brandon, was so helpful and wonderful to work with. The teachers at the school were incredibly welcoming and kind and made me feel a part of the time. The children at the school were so wonderful to work with and learn from. It was a wonderful opportunity to advance my Spanish and immerse in the beautiful culture of Guatemala and Ciudad Vieja. I hope to be able to return and volunteer again.

We had a wonderful time at Niños de Guatemala. The kids were so loving and respectful, and we had a blast joining their PE class. We were also genuinely impressed by the level of education, the fact that they already teach English from age 4 says a lot about the quality of the program. The staff were warm and welcoming, and we stayed with Doña Olga and Patricia, who made us feel right at home. Grateful we could be part of this, even if only for two days!
