About this trip

If your ticket to paradise takes you to a magnificent region colored with aquamarine waters, lush green tropical isles, pink-golden sunsets, and picturesque towns paved with narrow cobblestone streets lining one of Europe’s most enchanting coastlines, FLOW Yoga Retreats is here to dazzle you during our fall 2025 trip Splendor by the Sea: A Yoga Gathering in Croatia.

Escape to a land where the azure waters of the Adriatic Sea soothe the soul and the leaves of the olive trees dance in perfect harmony to the gentle ocean breeze. A place of astonishing beauty and diverse landscapes, Croatia is sure to enliven your senses and captivate your heart as you explore its rich history, vibrant culture, and breathtaking coast. You will leave ‘the Pearl of the Adriatic’ with a rejuvenated appreciation for beauty in nature, its gentle rhythms, and the precious gems that make life worth living.

Your sumptuous week in Croatia offers the best of all worlds with the perfect union of movement and rest. You will find inspiration as we cruise the islands of the Elaphite archipelago; experience richness and depth through an exploration of a centuries-old walled city and the historical influences of Roman and Mediterranean cultures on modern-day life, and seep in pure tranquility from gazing out into the majestical panoramic views. You will have time to explore nature and Croatian city-life and space to nap on the terrace. You will taste the sweetness of doing nothing with time to relax around the pool with the sea as your backdrop or enjoy kinship with your FLOW family around any of the eco-chic garden lounge areas.

Our home away from home is NINON Design Boutique Hotel boasting intelligent design built from a space of love for nature and simple luxury. Rooms come with a brilliant sea view, resplendent touches, and unique handpicked décor embodying comfort, elegance, and ease. Located in Brsečine, a quiet village in the limestone hills lining the Dalmatian coast and just 20 minutes from Dubrovnik, you’ll find yourself basking under the warmth of the Mediterranean sun and soaking up the glow of the locals’ hospitality and charm. As you sip coffee and gaze out over the sea you will take in the fresh air flowing through olive grove hilltops, lulling a quiet calmness. Your body will be nourished daily by fresh, organic, seasonal foods and your heart will delight as it dines under the stars with old friends and new.

Terms & Conditions

Splendor by the Sea: A Yoga Gathering in Croatia

September 13-20, 2025

Please take the time to read and understand the Terms & Conditions detailed below prior to booking your trip. If you decide to book the trip, your electronic signature and deposit are consent and agreement to these Terms & Conditions. You will be required to agree to these terms in order to complete your booking.

1. Your Payment or Deposit is Your Contract

When you register for the Splendor yoga adventure via either payment in full or a $500 per person deposit, you will be deemed to have agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Your booking deposit, together with (a) these Terms & Conditions and (b) the trip details regarding the Enchanted! A Yoga Adventure in Galapagos listed on the We Travel website will constitute a legally binding contract between you and Melissa Katz and Tra Kirkpatrick (herein collectively referred to as Retreat Leaders). (Note: If you book a trip for multiple people traveling together, then all travelers in that booking will be deemed to have read and agreed to the Terms & Conditions, and to be parties to this Agreement.)

2. Payment

In order to confirm your booking with us, you may choose to either pay in full with $500 per person of your payment non-refundable as outlined in Section 8 Cancellation by Traveler, or pay via a payment plan, starting with a $500 non-refundable per person deposit toward the total price of your trip.

3. Payment Plan

If you select a payment plan when you register for the trip, the balance due (package price minus the first payment of a $500 per person non-refundable deposit) will be billed in four (4) remaining installments. The payment schedule shall be as follows:

 1st payment: due by Jan 26, 2025

 2nd payment: due by March 30, 2025

 3rd payment: due by May 25, 2025

final payment: due by July 27 , 2025

If you choose to pay for your retreat package via a payment plan and book the trip between any of the payment dates above, your down payment (deposit) will be $500 PLUS any amounts due for payment dates that have occurred before your registration date. (For example, if you book on March 3, 2025, your deposit will be $500 plus the 1st installment amount). You must pay remaining balance based on payment schedule above.

If any payment is not paid on or before the due date, we reserve the right to treat your booking as canceled, especially if you have not proactively communicated about your payment needs. See #8 below regarding Cancellation by Traveler. All bookings must be paid in full by July 27, 2025.

4. Passport, Visas and Other Travel Documents

For trips outside the U.S., you must carry a valid passport. Croatia is a Schengen area. Schengen regulations require that U.S. passport holders have at least three (3) months validity remaining on their passport after their anticipated date of departure from the Schengen Area. Travellers from other Schengen countries do not have to show their identity card or passport when traveling to or from Croatia if coming from countries belonging to the Schengen area. However, we advise you to bring your passport or identity card with you nevertheless, in case you need to prove your identity. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in possession of all such required travel documents for your trip. The Retreat Leaders are not responsible if you are refused entry to Croatia or any layover country during travel because you lack the correct travel documents.

5. Requests for Roommate (Double-Occupancy)

If you are traveling solo and register for a “Double-Occupancy” roommate plan rather than “Single/Private Occupancy” the Retreat Leaders will make efforts to match you with an appropriate roommate in order to accommodate the request for the lower “Double-Occupancy” (versus “Single-Occupancy”) rate. However, if Retreat Leaders are unable to match you with a roommate as of the due date for final payment, you will be responsible for the difference between the Double and Single occupancy rate. Any amounts due must be paid by the final payment due date. We encourage solo travelers who want a roommate to recruit a friend, family member or fellow yogi to attend as the roommate as the Retreat Leaders cannot and will not guarantee a registration to match your needs.

Be aware that, except for the limited refund rights outlined above (Section 10) for various cancellation scenarios, each client is 100% responsible for any losses, penalties, fees or other financial consequences arising out of any booking or trip, or the cancellation or interruption of any booking or trip (including, by way of example, costs related to airline tickets and fees, passport fees, visa fees, medical expenses, etc.). For all of these reasons, purchase travel insurance promptly following your booking.

Also, you may be visiting places where the political, cultural and geographical environment is very different than where you live, and in some cases, these differences may present increased risks and/or challenges. If the parties cannot agree on the arbitrator(s) and/or the rules of arbitration, arbitration may be compelled by petition to any court of competent jurisdiction in Dekalb County, GA. Any arbitration award shall be rendered in writing and may be entered and shall be fully enforceable as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. The parties expressly waive their right to trial, including trial by jury. Each party shall bear its own attorneys’ fees and costs.

19. Applicable Law

This Agreement (including all bookings and the Terms & Conditions) shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia applicable to contracts entered into and to be wholly performed therein (without giving effect to any conflict of laws principles under Georgia law).

20. Updating of Terms & Conditions

The Retreat Leaders reserve the right to update and/or alter these Terms & Conditions at any time. Current information can always be found under Splendor: A Yoga Gathering in Croatia on the We Travel retreat booking website and any updates and/or changes will supersede any previous versions.

By booking this trip and paying a non-refundable deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and understand the Terms & Conditions outlined above and agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions. You will be required to accept the Terms & Conditions with an electronic signature during the registration process.

Itinerary

Splendor!
Itinerary

This sumptuous week is all about YOU! Offering the perfect union of exploration and rest, your week of Splendor will delight you with the creme de la creme of Croatia.

Prepare to be dazzled by the stunning beauty of the Dalmatian Coast and to explore her majesty by land and by sea; to get pampered with top-notch attention and caring service; to be fed meals with organic, local food made by expert  and love (and wine with dinners); to embark upon amazing Yoga overlooking the sea and gardens and to feel the breeze of the Adriatic.

Our sub-theme for the week comes from the Croatian philosophy known as fjaka (fee-ya-kah). It has no direct translation in English, but the closest meaning is 'the sweetness of doing nothing' (or 'the subtle art of not giving a f*ck). We've carved out fjaka time on the schedule called SweetSpot and we invite you to practice this Croatian way of life that helps us to live happier, more peaceful, and fulfilling lives.

This trip was a once in a lifetime Enchanted Adventure. I learned so much about Galapagos Islands and its native wildlife. The naturalist guides were amazing, thank you Duncan and Paco! Semilla Verde rooms, staff, food and wines were perfect. Our rooms were always clean, water bottle changed several times a day and waste paper from toilets were changed repeatedly every day. There was nothing I was lacking. The property also houses an amazing trail system throughout their 14 acres, where we saw the giant Tortoise in their natural habitat. Of course our two yoga guides are always giving us great yoga practice every day, sometimes several times a day. We could always count on Tra and Melissa to be there to talk to or discuss our personal matters.

I had a great time! The food, accommodations, activities and people were all wonderful. Tray and Melissa did an amazing job leading us in two yoga classes a day and filling the rest of the time up with amazing activities, like snorkeling, hiking and visiting the Darwin Center. The boutique hotel we stayed at was outstanding, with many beautiful hiking trails around and giant tortoises right in the backyard.. we had lots of opportunities to get up close and personal with nature in this fabulous setting!

Amazing! Such an incredible experience. The country house was exquisite. The food was phenomenal and the people were thoughtful and generous. We met lovely retreat participants from all over the US who were just wonderful to spend time with - we made friendships that will carry on- a gift that keeps giving. And then of course there’s Melissa and Tra - they put so much thought into this experience, you could tell it was put together with inspired intention. It was so enjoyable. We will definitely be booking the next one!

Flow Yoga retreats are wonderful! The accommodations are always upscale and very comfortable. Tra and Melissa are so accommodating and always plan amazing excursions! You come to the retreat as a guest and leave as part of the Flow family. We were offered several styles of yoga classes twice daily along with additional meditation classes. Melissa and Tra really compliment each other and are a great team.
