SEGA Volunteer House
Near the base of the Uluguru Mountains, the School is located 7 miles north of Morogoro, which is located approximately 5 hours west of Dar es Salaam by car. *Double and Triple Accommodation*

Botanical Garden Tour
We have included a field trip with students to the Sokoine University Botanical Gardens to learn conservation, ecological conditions, and about natural Tanzanian vegetation.
Hike to Choma Waterfall
Volunteers will enjoy a hike through the Uluguru Mountains to the beautiful Choma Waterfall including a local Tanzanian lunch and Soil Cake Making Demonstration.
Mikumi National Park
A volunteer favorite to end our time in Tanzania! Travel to Mikumi to stay at Vuma Hills Tented Safari Camps and enjoy 2 days of game drives trying to spot the Big 5!

Kick off STEM Adventures at SEGA Program!
Today is the day! The STEM Adventures at SEGA Program begins with Morning Assembly, a school tour, and Introductions in the Big Banda. Today will consist of group planning sessions, meet & greet time with Form 1 students and SEGA STEM Staff, getting to know each other, and introductory STEM Lessons!

In the evening you will have a fun STEM-related activity with the students!

Field Trip Day!
We will have an early day as we gather together with students to tour Sokoine University Botanical Gardens to learn more about conservation, natural Tanzanian plants, and ecology!

Travel back to SEGA where you will rest before 2 guest speakers arrive to share their journey of becoming a scientist in Tanzania!

Hike the Uluguru Mountains to Choma Waterfall
Volunteers and will hike up the Uluguru Mountains through the Uluguru Village to explore the Choma Waterfall! Enjoy swimming at the waterfall, lunch at Choma Village, and a soil cake-making demonstration! This is approximately a 4-hour hike.

In the evening enjoy we will prep for the science share!

Depart SEGA for Mikumi National Park
Today you will depart SEGA for Mikumi National Park. Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth-biggest national park. Situated between the Uluguru Mountains and the Lumango Mountains, Mikumis park center has a wide assortment of natural life that can be simply spotted and furthermore very much suitable for viewing in a game drive.

You will enjoy overnight accommodations and Dinner at Foxes Safari Camps, Vuma Hills Tents.
