Roll out your mat and ignite your personal evolution. Surf Soul Español 2018 promises a new level of wonder, self-discovery and fuuuun. We will yoga, we will surf, we will immerse ourselves in a new language and culture. We will embark upon an edible journey and learn about the healing power of plants as medicine and food for the soul. We will find clarity and deep connection. We will also kick it by the pool, float in the tide pools, wax philosophical at the juice bar, marvel over monkeys, eat scrumptious food, laugh, learn and lounge. We’ve designed this retreat to expand your horizons, but this place will take you there all on its own.
In an effort to incorporate some philanthropy into our yoga journey, we have teamed with local schools to bring backpacks to children in need. This is your opportunity to give back to the Nosara community. Closer to retreat time, you will receive a list of supplies to stock each child's backpack. Participation is entirely optional, but we encourage you to join us in this meaningful outreach project. Pura Vida.
Also new this year, we are offering Survival Spanish classes at the nearby Nosara Spanish Institute. For scheduling purposes, please indicate if you are interested in attending classes when you fill out your traveler information sheet. Gracias!

M O R E R O O M / P R I C I N G I N F O:
Again, rooms are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED. If you feel strongly about your room choice, that's yet another reason to HOP ON IT! Bodhi Tree will book up, whether by us or by other coinciding retreats.
WHEN BOOKING, your deposit will be charged at registration. Additional incremental payments will be billed out to you 4 months, 2 months, and 1 month prior to check-in, per payment plan above, unless you'd prefer to SIMPLIFY and take care of your full balance from the get-go.
To make TIPPING a no brainer, we highly recommend selecting the add-on for tips to Bodhi Tree staff, surf instructors and other vendors we have booked along the way. Simplify. Let Nicole and Bev have all the fun making change and divvying up your 10% to everyone (tip cost listed reflects customary Costa Rican 10% tip).
TRAVELING ALONE or WITH FRIENDS? There will be an opportunity to put in roommate requests/considerations upon booking.
T R A V E L T O N O S A R A:
OPTION 1: Fly directly into Nosara via San Jose International (SJO) on Nature Air. Potentially plan for overnight in San Jose.
OPTION 2: Fly into Liberia (LIR) and take pre arranged shuttle directly to Nosara. (2.5 hour drive)
OPTION 3: Fly into San Jose International (SJO) and take pre-arranged shuttle directly to Nosara. (5.5 hour drive)
SHUTTLES can be arranged for Options 1, 2 and 3.
FLIGHT timing/schedules are ever changing. If you need any help with travel info or shuttle booking, please give Nicole a shout at nominivan4me@gmail.com.
MAKE SURE your passport is up to date (best if it's got at least 6 months past our May travel before expiring!). Plant it in a safe place and don't forget where that special place is. (Here I'm always reminded of the time I was supposed to meet my husband in Mexico for a weekend getaway and ended up sitting at home passportless and alone with 4 kids while he waited for me on the beach... no bueno.)
TRAVEL INSURANCE is highly recommended and is available upon booking. Be ready for life's little surprises. A liability WAIVER will be sent closer to your travel date along with a PACKING LIST.
Nicole is a resident Bodhi Tree yoga instructor and has enjoyed work as a primate behaviorist, dog walker, seller of safaris and raiser of challenging kin. She’s into world traveling, hiking, skiing, surfing, solitude and meaningful connections. Nicole's latest passion is a system she created called Power Restore {www.powerrestoreyoga.com}. Her classes are part sermon, part science lesson, part sweaty vinyasa and heaps of fully supported, restorative flow. She believes deeply in the body’s innate ability to heal itself through discipline, nutrition, mindfulness and connection with higher self. Her teaching style is guided first and foremost by self-knowledge and authenticity. Nicole lives in Nosara with her family on an indefinite sabbatical as a co-owner of Nosara Spanish Institute {www.nosaraspanishinstitute.com}. She continues to be a student of life and readily admits that she knows a lot less than she thinks she did in college.
Beverly Jane fell in love with yoga while searching for a bit of zen in the midst of suburbia. She passes the peace in her teaching at Sattva Village Yoga, with a focus on breath, flow and mindful self-compassion. Also a classical soprano, she shares her soul through singing, guitar and laughing with abandon. Bev's favorites, aside from her hubby and wildlings, include getting lost in a thought, getting lost on a hike, fresh eggs, honey from the hive, delicious books, all things farmy and anything that doesn't talk back. {www.sattvavillageyoga.com}
