After a year hiatus of moving, healing and rebuilding bigger, better and stronger than ever, Surf Soul Español is BACK in 2020. Back at the beautiful Bodhi Tree Resort that we know and love, we will reunite, make new friends and explore new territories. As always, we will surf, we will yoga, we will dance, we will laugh. We’ll lounge outside our rooms and listen to howlers, drop deep into transformative kundalini and breathwork and read books by the poolside. The options are plentiful, the requirements are minimal. Before You Go

A L L  life lovers invited... no need to be prolific in anything to enjoy this immersion.

M O R E    R O O M / P R I C I N G    I N F O:

Again, rooms are FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED.  If you feel strongly about your room choice, that's yet another reason to HOP ON IT!  Bodhi Tree will book up, whether by us or by other coinciding retreats.

WHEN BOOKING, your deposit will be charged at registration. Additional incremental payments will be billed out to you 4 months, 2 months, and 1 month prior to check-in, per payment plan above, unless you'd prefer to SIMPLIFY and take care of your full balance from the get-go.

To make TIPPING a no brainer, we highly recommend selecting the add-on for tips to Bodhi Tree staff, surf instructors and other vendors we have booked along the way. Simplify. Let Nicole and Bev have all the fun making change and divvying up your 10% to everyone (tip cost listed reflects customary Costa Rican 10% tip).

TRAVELING ALONE or WITH FRIENDS?  There will be an opportunity to put in roommate requests/considerations upon booking.

T R A V E L    T O    N O S A R A:

OPTION 1: Fly directly into Nosara via San Jose International (SJO) on Nature Air. Potentially plan for overnight in San Jose.

OPTION 2:  Fly into Liberia (LIR) and take pre arranged shuttle directly to Nosara. (2.5 hour drive)

OPTION 3: Fly into San Jose International (SJO) and take pre-arranged shuttle directly to Nosara. (5.5 hour drive)

SHUTTLES can be arranged for Options 1, 2 and 3.

FLIGHT timing/schedules are ever changing.  If you need any help with travel info or shuttle booking, please give Nicole a shout at powerrestoreyoga@gmail.com.

MAKE SURE your passport is up to date (best if it's got at least 6 months past our May travel before expiring!). Plant it in a safe place and don't forget where that special place is. (Here I'm always reminded of the time I was supposed to meet my husband in Mexico for a weekend getaway and ended up sitting at home passportless and alone with 4 kids while he waited for me on the beach... no bueno.)

TRAVEL INSURANCE is highly recommended and is available upon booking.  Be ready for life's little surprises. A liability WAIVER will be sent closer to your travel date along with a PACKING LIST.

About Nicole

Nicole is a former Bodhi Tree yoga instructor and has enjoyed work as a primate behaviorist, dog walker, seller of safaris and raiser of challenging kin. She’s into world traveling, hiking, skiing, surfing, solitude and meaningful connections. Nicole's latest passion is a system she created called Power Restore {www.powerrestoreyoga.com}. Her classes are part sermon, part science lesson, part sweaty vinyasa and heaps of fully supported, restorative flow. She believes deeply in the body’s innate ability to heal itself through discipline, nutrition, mindfulness and connection with higher self. Her teaching style is guided first and foremost by self-knowledge and authenticity. Nicole has recently relocated from Nosara to Truckee, CA with her family. She continues to be a student of life and readily admits that she knows a lot less than she thinks she did in college.

About Beverly Jane

Beverly Jane fell in love with yoga while searching for a bit of zen in the midst of suburbia.  She passes the peace in her teaching at Sattva Village Yoga, with a focus on breath, flow and mindful self-compassion.  Also a classical soprano, she shares her soul through singing, guitar and laughing with abandon.  Bev's favorites, aside from her hubby and wildlings, include getting lost in a thought, getting lost on a hike, fresh eggs, honey from the hive, delicious books, all things farmy and anything that doesn't talk back. {www.sattvavillageyoga.com}

Nicole Koch & Beverly Jane Peatross

Nicole and Beverly Jane’s collision course toward yoga destiny happened over an extended playdate with their then kindergarten boys. Both yoga instructors, with a penchant toward non- chalance, the two got along famously. When Nicole moved to Nosara, Costa Rica and started working at Bodhi Tree Yoga Resort, she knew a retreat was in order. And Beverly Jane proved to be the perfect partner. While quite different from the outside, Beverly Jane and Nicole both share the same attitude toward life, love and yoga. They have been told (more than once) that their yin/yang combo, individual teaching styles and unique passion for how and what they teach create a beautiful and cohesive blend. This happy confluence of talent and energy already has and will continue to result in a beautiful, lively, introspective and yes, potentially life altering retreat experience. For more info, enjoy pursuing their individual bios and websites on our main trip page.

Wonderful all round! Wish I could go every three months!

It wasn’t just a week long getaway at the beach. It was an opportunity for profound meditation and growth. The breath work session and sound bath were amazing experiences. I love how calm and centered and supportive both Beverly Jane and Nicole are. They set a tone that encourages people to drop in and also to accept each other and themselves. The restorative yoga class that Nicole lead and Beverly Jane played/sang live music for was such a beautiful event; it will never be forgotten. There was a genuine atmosphere of connecting. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to spend a few days focusing on their health and well being. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed with a sense of peace and inner strength! In addition to the benefits of the yoga practice, we also had a blast surfing, playing in the tide pools, making dream catchers, and salsa dancing. So special!!!

A truly unforgettable, amazing experience. First class yoga + surf instructors, incredible group of guests, beautiful accommodations. I can’t say enough great things about this trip! I hope you organize another trip soon! Thank you for putting this together – you touched the lives of each person who participated.

This trip was more than I could have ever imagined...it was extraordinary in so many ways and I can honestly say that I got so much more than I signed up for. I recently started some yoga classes as a form of exercise and have been loving it, but I have never understood the spiritual side of yoga. Nicole and Beverly Jane took it to a whole new level for me. From the many styles of yoga that were introduced --> to the other activities and events that were planned --> to the order in which they took place, I found a whole new meaning to the practice of yoga. I'm trying to come up with more words...but there really is no way to describe the magic that happened during this week. It is something that needs to be experienced first hand.
