After your arrival, we will pick you up at the airport in Baltra Island and cross to Itabaca Channel and then take you to Santa Cruz Island to your selected hotel at the beautiful town of Puerto Ayora. On the way we will make a short visit "Los Gemelos" volcanic formations and a private Ranch where we will see Giant Galapagos Tortoises on their natural habitat. We will also walk inside a petrified lava tunnel!

Navigable Bay Tour to "Las Grietas" + Upgrades
After a nice breakfast,, we pick you up from your hotel and go to the pier to start a 3 1/2 hour bay tour. Snorkeling and walking guided tour to "Lobos Island", Love Channel, "Las Grietas" and "Playa de los Perros" (Dog's Beach).

Return to your hotel and enjoy a free afternoon walking to the famous white beach of Tortuga Bay (a beautiful beach top 5 in the world). Swim in "Playa Mansa" and enjoy kayaking if you'd like (not included $10 pp). At night you can go eat at the "Kioskos Street" where you can find a huge selection of street food and delicious local dishes. Accommodation on your hotel.

*OPTIONAL UPGRADE 3: YACHT TOUR TO NORTH SEYMOUR ISLAND

Breakfast at your hotel and then we pick you up to take our comfortable yacht that will take us to the incredible island of North Seymour. This uninhabited island is one of our favorites for animal lovers. Here you will see a large colony of Blue-footed boobies and the extremely photogenic Great Frigate birds. Also lookout for swallow-tailed gulls, marine iguanas, land iguanas, sea lions and more.

North Seymour is particularly famous for its elegant Frigate birds that, during mating season, rewards us with the vision (and photographs) of males inflating their guttural pouch into an enormous scarlet-red balloon to attract the females.

After a delicious lunch onboard the yacht, we head to Bachas Beach, a beautiful white coralline expanse. This is the perfect place for practicing snorkeling, swimming or to simply enjoy the white soft sand. Several brackish lagoons only a few steps away from the sea provide feeding grounds for various wading birds, from stilts to flamingos.

Tortuga Bay + transfer to Isabela Island
After a nice breakfast at your hotel, check out and enjoy a free morning to visit the world famous white beach of Tortuga Bay (a top 5 in the World). This is a self-guided visit so please only swim in "Playa Mansa" (not in "Playa Brava") and enjoy kayaking if you prefer (not included $10 pp). Then return to your hotel before 1pm so we will pick you up and transfer you to the pier to take a fast boat to Isabela Island (the biggest island in the Galapagos).

Upon arrival, we will pick you up from the pier and take you to your hotel. If time allows you can visit the Flamingos lagoon and Galapagos Tortoise Breeding Center. Enjoy the wonderful white beach of Isabela.

A nice dinner at "Royal Rock" Restaurant will be waiting for you.

Trekking to an active Volcano and enjoy wonderful views (+Upgrades)
After a nice breakfast we will go trekking to an active volcano. This 4-5 hours (16km both ways) hike to Volcán Sierra Negra and Volcán Chico will offer you breathtaking views of the second largest oceanic crater in the world as well as amazing views of northern Isabela Island. Enjoy a Box lunch with this view.

Return to your hotel, and enjoy a free afternoon to walk to Humedales or "La Galapaguera" (Tortoise Breeding center).

After breakfast we will pick you up to start our navigable tour to the incredible Lava Tunnels and Cabo Rosas. Here we will have the chance to snorkel with amazing marine animals such as White Tip (Friendly) sharks, rays, Marine Turtles and even get to see Penguins and Sea Horses. (This Off the Beaten path tour is one of the best hidden gems in Galapagos)

Then we will walk over the tunnels to see land animals such as the beautiful Blue-Footed boobies. Lunch on board before returning to your hotel for a relaxed afternoon at the beach.

After an early breakfast, start our navigable day tour around all San Cristobal Island. This tour consist on going around the island of San Cristobal, where you can see Frigate birds, Boobies, Dolphins, Sea Lions, Sea Turtles, Hammerhead sharks, Sea-gulls, marine iguanas and many more.

It takes around 7h30.

Visit: Kicker Rock, Cerro Brujo, Bahía Sardina, go around Punta Pitt, Bahía Rosa Blanca.

What an incredible trip! Juan Pablo organized so many fun activities for me - the itinerary was full of snorkeling, biking, and great dinners! He even managed to squeeze in a diving trip for me. He communicated with me every day to make sure I knew the plan. Overall a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this tour! Thank you so much for a fantastic trip!

Although this part of the trip was not what is should have been - it was still wonderful. Juan Pablo was amazing to help out when my hubs was suffering with altitude sickness. Instead of going to the farm - we had to have a last minute change and Juan Pablo got us a hotel in the valley to help ease the altitude sickness. We really enjoyed that hotel. Sadly we did not get to see the condors - the fog came in and the visibility disappeared but we did see a ton of hummingbirds. The hot springs were to die for!!!! I did a chocolate wrap in the spa that was quite relaxing. I highly recommend working with Juan Pablo to figure out what will work best for you and your group!!!!

Juan Pablo planned our trip and he was so patient and kind during the whole process. I always have a ton of questions - and he always responded very quickly with detailed information. ANYTHING he recommended was wonderful. It was such a blessing to work with him! He reached out every day of the trip to see how things were going and if he could help out in any way. Each day on this adventurous trip we encountered another magical thing!!! We cannot say we loved one island more than the next or one day trip more than the next but we can easily come up with 3 of the most incredible things per day. The wildlife was amazing, the color of the water was so vivid, wonderful sunsets, and many of the beaches had the finest powder sand. It was also super refreshing to be somewhere that was not jam packed busy, huge buildings, and having advertisements in your face all day. We had one picky eater and he did not complain about any of the meals. We absolutely loved this trip. Thank you so much for your input, help, and incredible tips Juan Pablo! You will be hearing from me again for my next Galapagos adventure!!

Juan Pablo of Smart Galapagos organised a fantastic 8 day Galapagos experience for my group of 4 friends. It could not have been better organised. The hotels were all comfortable with lovely, helpful staff and great views. The restaurants were always the best in town. We saw all the major sights on the three main islands and it all ran like clockwork. He got us great prices and made sure we had a lot of extras.
