Originally from Quintana Roo Mexico, Tamara is one of Mexico’s elite divers, specializes in sidemount and is supported by International brands including XDeep, Shearwater, Seaya, DLuxe Dive Gear, Seal Drysuits, Nautec and more.

She holds a Scientific Diving certificate from Mexico’s University (UNAM) and CMAS. She has experience in regions such as Indonesia, Belize, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Alaska and Egypt.

In 2021 she became part of the ProTec team and has completed cave instructor training under Instructor trainer Patrick Widmann.
