Arrive at the San José International Airport, where your private guide/driver will greet you with a warm Costa Rican welcome, a detailed trip briefing, and your welcome kit. Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your hotel for your first night in San José.
If you arrive early, you can immerse yourself in the capital’s charm: stroll through the bustling Central Market, marvel at the elegance of the National Theater, and, if you’re up for it, enjoy dinner at a scenic lookout restaurant. For adults, we can also arrange a local craft beer tasting to kick off your adventure in true Tico style.

After breakfast, embark on one of Costa Rica’s most legendary experiences — the Pacuare River Ecolodge 2-Day Adventure. Paddle through thrilling rapids surrounded by lush jungle, then retreat to the remote hotel, nestled on the riverbank. Here, nature and adrenaline combine for an unforgettable journey of white-water rafting, tropical wildlife, and starlit rainforest nights.

After rafting out of the Pacuare and enjoying a hearty lunch, your private guide will take you to Turrialba. If time allows, visit the Guayabo Archeological Monument — Costa Rica’s most important pre-Columbian city, once thriving between 1000 BC and 1400 AD. Walk among ancient aqueducts, stone roads, and ceremonial structures, discovering the stories of a civilization that shaped Costa Rica’s past.

Overnight in Turrialba.

Fuel up with breakfast, then get ready for an adrenaline-filled day of canyoning. Rappel down cliffs and waterfalls, feeling the rush of adventure as you conquer the canyons. After lunch, enjoy some downtime at your hotel, or explore Turrialba’s local gems — parks, restaurants, and hidden corners — with the insight of your guide.

Today begins with an early journey to the majestic Nauyaca Waterfall. Ride in a 4x4 through lush terrain to reach these awe-inspiring falls, where you can swim in crystalline natural pools. After a refreshing day in paradise, continue south to Dominical, a laid-back beach town on the Pacific coast.

Embark on a full-day marine adventure at Bahía Ballena National Park and Caño Island Biological Reserve. Glide across the ocean by boat, dive into vibrant coral reefs, and snorkel among tropical fish, sea turtles, and perhaps even dolphins.
