Our Club is made up of staff and retirees of the International Monetary Fund and World Bank and guests. We organize trips to the best ski destinations in North America and Europe. We work hard to identify resorts that offer terrain for all levels of skiers, reliable snowfall, comfortable lodging with great cuisine, and convenient travel connections. The true magic of our Club lies in our members. We aim to provide a remarkable sense of collegiality on our trips and you will always someone to ski with, whatever your level!

My husband and I had a fantastic time. Val Gardena is a treasure in many ways: - the spectacular panorama of the Dolomiti that can be seen from so many viewpoints, be it from the valleys or from the slopes and ski trails. - the magnitude of the ski resort with the magnificent Sella Ronda tour, and so many adjacent trails so well equipped with ski lifts, chairs, gondolas, funiculars,… you name it. All in excellent conditions: bravo! - restaurants on the slopes: so many of them, so charming in mist cases, offering delicious food and beautiful settings - the hotel Antares where we stayed, its highly professional staff, its gastronomic restaurant, and its great spa. - the kindness of Italians in the shops and on the slopes … The only issues were: - the temperature in the hotel room was way too high at night, and there was a lot of traffic noise in the middle of the night preventing us from keeping the window open and hence the temperature at a convenient level. Openingvtgeceinduwxwascthe only Jean suggested by the staff when we asked how we could regulate the temperature in our room …??? - massages at the spa were not of a quality consistent with the spa’s and the hotel’ standard - Val Gardena is difficult to reach. Maybe coming via Venice airport was not the best route when arriving from the USA. But the resort was worth the pain !

The location was wonderful and the trip well organized. I want to go back.

Wonderful trip that could not be better. Good snow, fantastic food, good group that got along well. The food at the Antares Hotel in Selva di Val Gardena deserves a shout-out for impressing us at every meal! Much credit is due to our trip leader Roman Binder, who herded us cats with just the right amount of guidance and communications. Our day trip to the Olympics in Cortina (we watched men's skeleton heats 1 and 2 up close!) and add-on visit to Venice were memorable in every way.

Fantastic skiing and accomodation, great people, and super smooth and effecttive shepherding by Roman. However, the price of the accomdation for the extra three days in Venice was poorly negotiated: about $1,000 for three nights, while the same hotel is available for euro 110 for a single room, double for a double room, on the internet. I got a single room for that price as I had to stay one more night.

Great hotel, great skiing, great group. The trip to Venice was a nice add-on.
