After breakfast, we drive along the northern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake, stopping at the stunning Grigoriev and Semenov Gorges. These alpine valleys, with lush meadows, pine forests, and mountain streams, offer perfect photography opportunities, especially of nomadic life and grazing livestock against the Tien Shan Mountains.
We enjoy a picnic lunch by a scenic lake before continuing to Karakol, where we explore its wooden Orthodox Church, Dungan Mosque, and bustling market. The day ends with a delicious local dinner, featuring specialties like ashlyanfu and grilled Issyk-Kul trout.
