Designed for yoga teachers seeking Yoga Alliance Continuing Education credits and practitioners who want to deepen their understanding of trauma-informed practice without committing to the full 100-hour course, this course blends science, somatics, and compassion to help you support yourself and others more safely in the yoga space.
What you’ll learn:
The science of trauma and its impact on the body, mind, and nervous system
How trauma responses show up in yoga practice
The principles of trauma-aware space holding
Informed consent, boundaries, and ethical touch
Tools for self-regulation and co-regulation
Integrating trauma awareness into your teaching or personal practice
Important Note:
This course is designed to help yoga teachers, facilitators, and dedicated practitioners become trauma-informed, meaning you will learn how to create safer, more inclusive, and nervous-system-aware spaces.
This course does not qualify you as a therapist to diagnose, treat or work directly with trauma.
