Day 1

Arrival-Kilimanjaro International Airport

On your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by our team who will transfer you to Arusha. Overnight at Vijiji Center Lodge or similar option.

Day 2

Day 2 image

Arusha City Tour

Our guests have shared how important this day is for them to rest before going on safari. Use this day to purchase any last-minute things you might need while on safari. After breakfast at your hotel, our crew will pick you at 10: 00am to take you for a city tour of Arusha. We will visit the following places:

- Tanzanite Experience Museum

- SANAA

- Maasai market

-Shoprite Mall for any last-minute snacks, toiletries or anything you might need while on safari


Then drive back to your hotel.

Day 3.

Arusha National Park.

After breakfast you will start your safari with the packed lunch you will start with Arusha National Park which covers Mt. Meru, a prominent volcano with an elevation of 4566 m, in the Arusha region of north Tanzania.  Despite the small size of the park, common animals include Giraffe, Cape buffalo, Zebra, Warthog, the black and White colobus monkey, the blue monkey, flamingo, elephant, bushbuck and many other African animals. Leopard populations are present, but rarely seen. Birdlife in the forest is prolific, with many forest species more easily seen here than elsewhere on the tourist route. 


Late afternoon you will drive back to your Hotel in Arusha for overnight.

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast with the packed lunch, you will drive to magnificent National Park-Tarangire National Park. This is Tanzania's fourth largest park offering diverse wildlife and scenery including giant baobab trees. It is home to the largest herds of elephants in East Africa. These herds migrate along the wildlife corridor to nearby Lake Manyara National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Animal populations here rival those of the Serengeti so you will have a chance to see wildebeests, zebras, elands, hartebeests, buffalos, gerenuks, fringe eared Oryx, and flocks of birds of various species. Overnight at Farm of Dream Lodge or similar option 

Day 5

Drive to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at the hotel, with our packed lunch, we will drive to Serengeti National Park through Ngorongoro Conservation Area  we will have lunch and then drive to Serengeti National Park. On the way, you will be able to view

wildlife before reaching the Hotel or Campsite in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Overnight at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Camp or similar option.

Day 6

Full-Day Central Serengeti game drive.

After breakfast, we will venture into Serengeti’s wilderness for full-day game viewing in the park. Enjoy exploring this world heritage site where the world’s largest concentration of animals still roams freely. Overnight in Central Serengeti at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Camp or similar option or Public Camp Site.

Day 7 & 8

Drive to Northern Serengeti - Kogatende

 After breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to Northern Serengeti (Koga Tende) for the great wildebeest migration.

 The Great Migration is the largest herd movement of animals on the planet. In fact, with up to over 1,000 animals per km², the numbers are astonishing: over 2.5 million wildebeest and over 400,000 zebras along with Topi and other gazelle move in a constant cycle through the Serengeti ecosystem in search of nutritious grass and water. Today we will see them crossing the Masai Mara River.

Overnight at Serengeti Tented Camp or similar option .

Serengeti-Ngorongoro-Masai Boma

After breakfast, with packed lunch, we will drive central Serengeti, Southward towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area with wildlife viewing on the way. We will have our lunch break at Naabi Hill (exit gate in Serengeti) as we register to enter Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, we will stop at one of the Maasai Bomas in Ngorongoro Area to learn, experience, and enjoy Maasai culture. 

Overnight in Ngorongoro Conservation Area at Sero Tented Camp or similar option.

Day 10

Ngorongoro Crater

After early breakfast you will descend to the crater for early morning game drive inside the crater. This is the best place in Tanzania to see the black rhino as well as prides of lions that includes the magnificent, black-manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and a variety of water birds. Other game that you can see includes leopards, cheetahs, hyena, other members of the antelope family, small mammals, hippos, and many more. 

You will enjoy your lunch at a picnic site in the crater floor and proceed with afternoon game drive.

Late in the afternoon we will drive to Arusha for overnight.

Preparation for Departure

Preparation for departure and transfer to the airport. End of Planned Itinerary.
