Visit the King Abdulla Mosque which was completed in 1989 as a memorial by the late King Hussein to his grandfather. The unmistakable blue-domed Mosque can house up to 7000 worshippers inside. 

This is the only Mosque in Amman that openly welcomes non-Muslim visitors. Then pay a visit to the Amman Citadel located 132 meters above the level of the City Centre.

South of the castle we can still see the ruins of Hercules temple. Also, there is Umayyad palace. The adventure continues then with exploring the Roman Amphitheater. Its construction dates back to the beginning of the Second Century AD.

Then take a walk in Amman's downtown markets and City center before heading to the Archaeological Museum and Darat al Fnoun which aims to provide a platform for the visual arts from the Arab World.

Whatever one’s religious persuasion, it’s hard not to be moved by this minimal pile of ruins lying at the end of the Jordan Valley near the Dead Sea. This is the site, archaeologists assure us, where John the Baptist preached, where Jesus was baptised, where the first five apostles met, and where, thereby, the foundations of the early Christian faith were laid. They chose an auspicious spot, as many also believe this was the place from where prophet Elijah (who was born in Mar Elias in north Jordan) ascended to heaven in a whirlwind. 

Petra, the great Ancient City that lies half-hidden in the wind-blown landscape in southern Jordan, is one of the world's most treasured Unesco Heritage Sites. 

Visitors are welcomed both by the Bedouin who still relate to the Ancient City as home, and by the townspeople of neighboring Wadi Musa whose facilities make a several-day visit to the Ancient City a pleasure.  

Once we awake from our 2 night at the Bedouin camp we then make our way to the Jordan Valley and get check in at the JV Marriott.

Mt Nebo is where Moses is said to have seen the Promised Land, a land he was himself forbidden to enter. It's believed that he died aged 120 and was later buried in the area, although the exact location of the burial site is the subject of conjecture. 

The amiable market town of Madaba is best known for a collection of Byzantine-era mosaics. The most famous of these is the map on the floor of St George’s Church, but there are many others in different parts of the town, several of them even more complete and vibrantly colorful. 

Destroyed and rebuilt over thousands of years, Jerusalem's spiritual magnetism endures. With interlacing histories, clashing cultures and constant reinvention, the city is an intense, multisensory experience.
