Welcome to the Magic of Morocco group trip with My Life's a Travel TRIBE! Morocco is known for its stunning desserts, colorful towns, vibrant culture, diverse landscapes and rich history, all of which we absolutely cannot wait to experience with YOU! 

It’s famous for its busting Medinas & Souks, intricate architecture, delicious cuisine and of course, the Sahara Desert. It’s world renowned for its leather work, rugs, pottery,  Argan Oil and more!

This Magical Moroccan itinerary includes unreal nights under the stars in the Sahara Desert, Exploring the wonders of the Blue City, guided tours through the incredible medinas and souks, exploring the high atlas mountains, getting to know Marrakesh like a local and staying like a royal in gorgeous Riads, indulging in the incredible Moroccan cuisine and possibly even learning to make your own Moroccan meals in a traditional tagine!

Our team in Morocco goes above and beyond to make this a once in a lifetime Moroccan experience you’ll never forget. Sharing this experience with a small group of like minded travelers from the Travel Tribe, is sure to be an unreal adventure!

Welcome to Morocco!! Upon arrival, clear immigration and proceed to the exit gate where you will be greeted by our Magic Sahara team with a sign with your name!. 

After meeting the Travel Tribe we will drive from Tangier to Chefchaouen, the beautiful blue city! Here is where we will spend the first 2 nights. After hotel check-in, you may have some free time on your own to adjust to the time zone and wander the blue streets before getting ready for our welcome dinner! 

If you arrive early in Tangier, we can explore Tangier while we wait for the others to land before driving to Chefchaouen.

Welcome Dinner in Chefchaouen.  

Overnight in Chefchaouen. At Chefchaouen: Dar Echchaouen Maison d'hôtes & Riad

We’ll have an incredible breakfast at our Riad and head out to explore the stunning Blue City. We’ll have a super knowledgeable local guide to give us an in depth look at the history and hidden gems of Chefchaouen.

We’ll stop for a local lunch and spend the rest of the day getting to shop and explore the hidden blue alleyways. Your host Jena will be with you the whole time to capture all of your photos! We always recommend wearing a super bright color such as a yellow, white, or pink to pop against the blue backdrop.

After an amazing day exploring, we’ll head back to the hotel to freshen up and get ready for a traditional Moroccan dinner at one of our favorite local restaurants!

After a wonderful breakfast we’ll start our 3.5 hour drive to the historical city of Fez!

Fez, Morocco, is renowned for its rich history and vibrant culture. It’s known for its ancient walled city, Fes el-Bali, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. 

We will have a guided tour of the walled city and the ancient medina and learn all about the history of Fez.

The city is famous for its medieval architecture, narrow winding streets, and traditional craftsmanship. Fez is also known for its tanneries, where leather is still dyed using traditional methods. 

It’s also  a center for Islamic learning, with the University of Al Quaraouiyine, considered the oldest existing educational institution in the world. 

The city’s vibrant souks and delicious cuisine, such as tagine and couscous, make it an incredible cultural and culinary experience.

We will have an awesome dinner and spend the night here at our stunning Riad:

RIAD SAYEDA AL HORA

After a beautiful breakfast at our Riad we will start our long drive to the incredible Sahara Desert!

This will most likely be your favorite experience in Morocco! The Sahara Desert is stunning and our glamping tents are incredible! It’s an experience you’ll never forget! 

It’s a trek to get there, but don’t worry! We’ll have restroom breaks and a lunch break at a great lunch spot along the way.

Once we get to the desert we will get on our quads and ride through the desert to our incredible Sahara Stars Camp where we’ll stay for the night!

We won’t be riding the camels, but don’t worry, we’ll still get to hang out with them and take pictures!

We’ll have an awesome dinner prepared by the chef at the Sahara Stars Camp followed by a beautiful campfire with a drum circle! This night is one you’ll never forget!

Night 4 Stay at the Sahara Stars Camp

 After a beautiful sunrise over the Sahara we’ll have an awesome breakfast prepared at our camp and head out for sand boarding!!

After sand boarding through the sand dunes we’ll continue our journey from the Sahara to the Dades Valley.   

It will be about a 4 hour scenic drive with lunch along the way! 

W’ell get to explore the stunning Dades Valley and spend the night

at the beautiful Riad Dades Paradise in Dades Valley.

Dinner will be prepared here at our Riad 

After breakfast we will start our 5 hour drive to Marrakesh with a few cool stops along the way!

We will stop for lunch and some photos!

About half way we will stop to explore Ait Benhaddou, a famous ksar or fortified village located in the Atlas Mountains. It’s known for its stunning adobe architecture and traditional buildings. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and a very popular filming location. Movies such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones have been filmed there. 

We will arrive in Marrakesh in time for a wonderful dinner and spend our next 2 nights in the beautiful Riad Les Remparts De La Kasbah

Marrakesh is super vibrant and bustling! With stunning gardens, a historic medina and bustling souks where you will definitely want to buy everything! So make sure you leave some room in your suitcases or buy an extra bag for shopping in Marrakesh! 

While in Marrakesh we will get to tour:

∙Majorel Garden

And we’ll spend lots of time admiring all the colors and spices at the Souks!

Our last night we will have a farewell dinner and one final night at our beautiful Riad before our departures the next day.

Unfortunately Time to say Goodbye, unless you’d like to extend your stay and explore more of Morocco on your own! If you will be leaving today, we will transfer you to the airport for your departure and we hope to see you very soon on our next Travel Tribe adventure!
