The weekend retreat will blend energizing pickleball sessions with rejuvenating yoga, scenic downtime, and community connection. Whether you’re brand-new to the court or chasing your next dink, you’ll leave stronger, looser, and grinning ear to ear.

What’s Included: Daily coached pickleball clinics, open play/mixers, yoga, mobility + breathwork, delicious and nourishing dinners prepared by Chef Adam (owner of Harlow in Portland), snacks/bevs, swag, and community vibes
Lodging: Quintessa on Whidbey Island
Skill-building on court: Footwork, dinks, drops, serves/returns, court strategy, doubles communication, and fun match play with coaching feedback.
Yoga that supports sport: Powerful yoga flows to energize, mobilize, stretch, and strengthen the body, and breathwork to restore.
Recovery you’ll actually do: Mobility drills, hips/shoulders/core activation, myofascial release, and nervous-system downshifting.
Community & play: Partner drills, round-robins, and social mixers.
A non-refundable, non-transferable $500 deposit is required to secure your spot. If you cancel 60 or more days before the retreat start date, you’ll receive a 50% refund of payments made, excluding the $500 deposit. No refunds are available for cancellations made fewer than 60 days before the start date.

You will need to arrange your own transportation to/from Whidbey and for getting in and around the island.
If you’re getting to the island early, jump right into the fun with Coach Joy at Pickleball Open Play from 1-3 pm at Whidbey Picklebarn (5550 Van Barr Pl, Freeland, WA 98249).

Arrive on Whidbey Island, meet your fellow retreaters, and get settled. We’ll help you find your room, hand you your goody bag, and give you plenty of time and space to unpack, exhale, and make The Quintessa your home for the weekend.
Kick off the weekend from 4:30-6pm at The Quintessa with a refreshing, balanced yoga flow designed to wake up your muscles and settle your mind. Expect breath-led movement, gentle heat, and mobility work so you leave energized, grounded, and ready for a weekend of play and restoration. All levels welcome.
Settle in and gather around the table for a cozy, chef-prepared meal. We’ll share stories, set intentions, and toast to a weekend of play and restoration. Vegetarian-friendly; please share any dietary needs in advance.
Breathe, balance, and move with Jamie from 7:30-8:45 am at The Quintessa. This morning practice opens the body and focuses the mind so you’re primed for a playful, productive day. All levels welcome.
Join us at 9 am at The Quintessa for a nourishing full breakfast. Refuel, chat with friends, and map your morning.
Please note that coffee, tea and light bites will be provided earlier to get you going to yoga.
Join Coach Joy from 10:00-12 pm at Whidbey Picklebarn for fundamentals, rules, and smart court movement with fun partner drills. All levels welcome; great for beginners.

A steady, spacious flow to unwind tight spots and restore balance before evening.
Unwind after a full day on the courts and the mat with a cozy, chef-prepared meal, starting at 6:30 pm. Swap stories, refuel well, and linger as long as you like. Vegetarian-friendly; please share any dietary needs in advance.
Join Jamie from 7:30-8:45 am for a final practice together at The Quintessa. You can expect gentle movement, breath, and a guided gratitude practice to integrate the weekend. We’ll close with a brief group reflection so you leave grounded and uplifted. All levels welcome.
