Join Montana Mitchell and Presley Gedman for four full days together, where everything we do will be centered around intentionality, vulnerability, and community. The goal? Leave for home with renewed clarity, refocused energy, and new friends.
The Retreat in Tulum is an opportunity to unplug, move your body, rest your mind, and reconnect with yourself through The Retreat's signature take on daily yoga and cardio (we call it Collective Move + Flow) and ample free time to explore Tulum, read a book, swim, participate in a group Temezcal ceremony, experience ancient Mayan healing massage therapy and reiki, and so much more. The best part? All activities are optional, so you can curate the retreat that works for you (but, let's be honest, most of our clients want to experience it all!).

Accomodations at Amansala Resort
Amansala is an all-inclusive resort and retreat center located steps from the ocean with four yoga shalas, two oceanside pools (rare in Tulum!), a relaxed boho dining room overlooking the water, a spa specializing in Mayan healing therapies, and plenty of space to lounge and enjoy the Mexican sunshine. The resort is one of Tulum's original internationally recognized boutique hotels with an eco-chic vibe that comes with many Trip Advisor Traveler’s Choice and Certification of Excellence awards, as well as many great customer reviews.
Choose the room type that works for you — a private room or select a shared room, perfect for a couple, for friends, or whoever else you may want to stay with.
If you don’t have a buddy traveling with you, don’t worry. This retreat is designed for solo travelers, too! You can book a solo room or reach out to us if you are interested in potential roommates and we'll try to play matchmaker, though we cannot guarantee a match.
Please remember that in Tulum, resorts like Amansala have a more rustic vibe and aren’t like big-box chain hotels in the United States. The amenities at Amansala are charming and have so much character, we hope you’ll feel right at home.

Prices + Payment
The price of your retreat depends on the type of room you book. To guarantee your reservation, pay your $500 non-refundable deposit to secure your spot. This trip will sell out!
If booking your retreat more than 60 days from the departure date, a deposit of $500 is due to confirm your space. The remaining balance is due no later than September 15, 2024. If you wish to pay your balance in full prior to September 15, 2024 you're welcome to at any time. If your booking is made after September 15, 2024 the entire trip cost must be paid at the time of booking.
Payments must be made through this safe and secure WeTravel page. If you pay via bank transfer, there is no transaction fee. If you pay by credit card, 2.9% is added for Visa/Mastercard and 3.9% is added for AMEX.
Refunds + Cancellations
In the event you need to cancel your reservation, a refund of your payments minus your initial non-refundable deposit of $500 will be given if you cancel prior to September 15, 2024.
If you cancel after September 15, 2024, you are responsible for 100% of the trip price and are not eligible for a refund. Due to arrangements made with our resort, there can be no exceptions to this policy.

- Collective Move + FlowEach morning Montana or Presley will lead The Retreat's signature 2-hour movement, meditation and reflection session.
- Reflect + ConnectDuring each session, we'll do some reflection work. Bring a journal. A tenant of The Retreat is that you won't be asked to share openly in a group format.
- 5 Nights at AmansalaYou'll stay at Amansala Eco Chic Resort + Retreat, one of Tulum's most yoga-focused destinations. Each room has a unique relaxed boho vibe.
- Three Meals a DayAmansala serves balanced meals that always emphasize fresh, local ingredients. The culinary team at Amansala is led by a group of talented local chefs.
- One Offsite Group DinnerOne night, we take the group out for dinner together to celebrate our new friendships and time together. Food on us, drinks on you.
- Gratuity for Hotel Staff$25 per day has been added to your retreat cost to thank the communal Amansala staff throughout our stay.
What’s not included
- AirfareYou'll fly into the new Tulum (TQO) international or Cancun (CUN) airport.
- Airport TransferAmansala will arrange transfer and group retreaters together based on arrival times. Cost will be around $60-150 each way depending on timing and airport. Shuttle schedule arranged one week prior.
- Add-On ExperiencesMassages, reiki, excursions, temezcal ceremony, snorkeling, etc. are add ons we'll help you sign up for upon arrival.
- AlcoholWe love margaritas too! But it's up to you if and when you want to imbibe on this retreat and will be at your own expense.
- TaxisOn the last night, we'll go to dinner as a group. Having pesos on hand for taxis to and from. We'll pair up and share rides.
- Additional TipsHave pesos on hand to tip drivers, housekeeping, etc. See send more info in our Welcome Packet a month prior to the trip.
- Mandatory Trip InsuranceWe want you to travel with insurance to protect you in case of any emergency, injury or natural disaster.

Itinerary
Arrive in Tulum via airport transfer from either Cancun or the new Tulum International Airport. Transfer will be arranged by Amansala resort and is safe and reputable. The drive will take about 40 minutes from Tulum or 90 minutes from Cancun. Our first official time together is 6pm Welcome session followed by dinner.
