After bidding farewell to Split, our journey southward begins. As we make our way towards the wine country, we'll make a delightful and mouthwatering pitstop at one of the charming roadside fruit stands, sampling the freshest local produce in Neretva, known as the agricultural breadbasket of Dalmatia. 

We'll then continue our scenic route to a winery nestled amidst the stunning landscapes of southern Croatia, where the Rižman Winery beckons us with its captivating charm and exceptional wines. Perched on rolling hills overlooking the Adriatic Sea, this picturesque winery offers not only exquisite wines but also breathtaking views that stretch as far as the eye can see. Today, we will take a road trip to experience Dubrovnik, the Pearl of the Adriatic, but before we do, we will make a stop at Mali Ston, a seaside village that is famed for its oysters and mussels. We will enjoy a ride on a boat along the pristine waters, taking in the famed walls and tall craggy mountains, where we will get a demo on oyster farming and production, a tradition that has been happening here since antiquity. The oysters here are so good, that even ancient Roman emperors used to put in delivery orders.

Then, we will take a drive along the beautiful coastal roads to Dubrovnik, where you will experience a project from Chef Richard Gruica on his “Sights and Bites” food and wine/history walking tour, where you will be expertly guided through a tasting of the Old Town of Dubrovnik by our Foodie/History Guide. Prepare to be seriously wowed by the city’s fairytale-like setting enjoying its shiny white limestone streets, and enchanting narrow alleyways all while you eat and drink your way through the Old Town.

Enjoy some free time after the foodie tour to explore Dubrovnik further on your own or for those who are more adventurous, you can tackle the famed walls of the Old Town as an optional add-on. Be prepared to take the BEST selfies ever! We will then make our way back to Orebic.

On this occasion, we will embark on a car ferry, transporting us to one of the most renowned and loved islands of Croatia called Korčula, a place deeply intertwined with the heritage of Marco Polo, surprising us with his Croatian origins. Our exploration of Korčula commences with a guided tour of the city, strolling through its narrow streets steeped in history. Later, we will indulge in a remarkable dining experience at Eko-Škoj, an organic farm dedicated to sustainable agriculture and eco-friendly practices.
