About this trip

Co-create transformational healing with the energy of the late summer season, the land and yourself - in ways only available when you give yourself the gift of your presence and a sacred pause. An immersive experience of connection, healing & empowerment. The expansion and healing work experienced on The Retreat has the power to travel backward + forward in time.

The Retreat is a 4-night/5-day experience at the incredible Stowel Lake Farm, an organic farm and retreat centre on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia - the land of the Hul'qumi'num and SENĆOŦEN speaking peoples.

Every day will be a beautiful journey that will consist of:

-morning and afternoon yoga

-evening circles

-nourishment from the land via gourmet farm to table meals

-moonlight celebration

You are welcome to participate in as much or as little as you feel called. This is an invitation to practice reverence for and honour your spirit/body/heart and to allow yourself to be held.

This retreat is for women and non-binary folks who identify with women's communities, facilitated by SHE RECOVERS Foundation Founders Taryn Strong and Dr. Dawn Nickel.

Women recovering in ALL areas of their lives will benefit from this immersive experience of radical self-care. Out of respect for women recovering from alcohol and drug addiction, alcohol and drugs are not permitted at this retreat.
