Reflect. Reconnect. Reimagine.
The Wild Horizon is a seven-night retreat in beautiful Troncones, Mexico, created for anyone who feels ready to step away from the noise, reconnect with themselves and get curious about what they want the next chapter of life to look like.
This is a week to slow down, have some fun, ask bigger questions and explore what it means to live this next chapter with more intention, freedom and authenticity.
Throughout the week, Felicity will guide an exploration of The Four Agreements, using the book as a starting point for meaningful conversations around self-talk, relationships, assumptions, boundaries, identity and the stories and patterns we carry with us. Woneven into yoga 7 movement classes, morning talks around the brekfast table or as jornal prompts. Every guest will receive a copy of the book, and together we’ll explore how these simple principles can take on new meaning as we move through change, relationships and different seasons of life.
We’ll also be joined by author and women’s health professional Daria Flowers, author of Dude, Where’s My Wife?!, for a candid, funny and refreshingly honest conversation about menopause, relationships, identity and the sometimes surprising changes that come with midlife. What happens when your body changes, your priorities shift or you simply begin asking, “What do I want now?”
For guests who feel called to explore more deeply, Adriana will offer an optional guided psilocybin ceremony with preparation and integration support. Participation is completely optional and separate from the core retreat experience. Again, this is an optional ceremony.
And this is still very much a retreat — not a conference.
There will be yoga and movement, nourishing meals, massages, ocean time, adventure, beautiful sunsets, laughter, connection and plenty of space to rest, play or simply do nothing.
This week isn’t about fixing yourself or becoming the person you used to be.
It’s about getting curious about who you are now.
What are you ready to let go of? What assumptions no longer serve you? How do you want to speak to yourself? What do you want more of? And what could the next chapter look like if you gave yourself permission to rewrite a few of the rules?
Come with a friend, sister, partner or mom — or come on your own.
You may arrive simply needing a break.
You may leave knowing yourself a little better, carrying less of what no longer belongs to you and feeling genuinely excited about what comes next.
I'm a yoga and movement teacher, health and wellness coach, writer and retreat leader with a passion for helping people reconnect with themselves through movement, mindfulness and meaningful travel experiences.
For nearly a decade, I've been teaching yoga to students of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. I believe yoga is for everyone, and my classes are designed to build strength, improve mobility, increase flexibility and cultivate balance while creating a welcoming, supportive environment.
Whether I'm teaching an energizing Yoga Sculpt class, a gentle restorative practice or guiding Yoga Nidra and meditation, my goal is to help each person leave feeling stronger, calmer and more connected.
As a certified health and wellness coach, I believe true wellness extends far beyond the yoga mat. It's about how we move, nourish our bodies, manage stress, cultivate meaningful relationships and live with intention.
Travel has always been one of my greatest teachers. Over the years, I've explored Southeast Asia, India, Japan, Europe, Mexico and many parts of the United States, and I was fortunate to call the island of Kauai home for six years. These experiences deepened my love of culture, community, nature and the beauty of seeing the world through a different lens.
Leading retreats has become one of the greatest joys of my career. This upcoming retreat marks my 10th retreat in beautiful Troncones, Mexico, and I've also had the privilege of leading retreats in Europe. I love creating experiences that blend yoga, wellness, adventure, local culture and genuine connection. There is something truly special about stepping away from everyday life, slowing down and giving yourself the gift of time to reconnect with what matters most.
Whether you're joining your first retreat or your tenth, my hope is that you'll leave feeling renewed, inspired and empowered, with new friendships, lasting memories and practices that continue to support you long after you've returned home.
I can't wait to welcome you on this journey.
Daria Flowers is an author, women’s health professional, certified Health Coach, and certified yoga instructor with additional training in children’s yoga. Her work is rooted in helping women navigate change with greater self-understanding, connection, humor, and compassion.
She is the author of Dude, Where’s My Wife?! The Midlife Survival Guide for Men, a candid and often funny exploration of perimenopause, relationships, and the sometimes messy transformation of midlife. Drawing from her years working closely with women, Daria is especially interested in the emotional and relational side of wellness—the ways our bodies, identities, relationships, and sense of self evolve throughout our lives.
Her approach to wellness is intentionally expansive. She believes feeling well isn’t about perfect routines or trying to become a previous version of ourselves, but about learning to listen to and trust the person we are becoming.
Movement has long been part of Daria’s own practice. Alongside yoga, she is drawn to expressive and intuitive dance practices influenced by ecstatic dance, 5Rhythms, and Sweat Your Prayers—movement that is fluid, playful, embodied, and led by music rather than choreography. She loves creating accessible movement experiences that invite people to get out of their heads, reconnect with their bodies, and explore freedom, expression, and joy.
Minister of Walking Prayer
Adriana González Villa is a medicine woman, ordained interfaith minister, licensed acupuncturist, multi-instrumentalist and yogini whose work weaves together ritual, sound, movement and indigenous wisdom traditions.
Based in Guerrero, Mexico, Adriana facilitates plant medicine ceremonies, sound baths and deeply restorative healing experiences designed to create space for reflection, connection and personal insight.
During The Wild Horizon, Adriana will guide an optional plant medicine ceremony held beachside, accompanied by an immersive live sound bath — a powerful and unforgettable experience shaped by the rhythm of the ocean, music, ceremony and intentional space.
Her ministry is inclusive and rooted in reverence, presence and respect for traditional wisdom. Adriana is a dual citizen of Mexico and the United States and lives in Guerrero with her husband and daughter.
Whenever possible, Felicity, Daria and Adriana partner with local guides, drivers, artisans, healers, musicians and small businesses. They believe their retreats should benefit not only their guests but also the people and communities who so warmly welcome them.
Giving back is an important part of The Wild Horizon.
Guests will have the opportunity to support families and community members in Troncones or La Majahua through an optional monetary donation or by bringing requested supplies from home. Before the retreat, we will share a list of items that are most needed so your generosity has the greatest impact.
Over the years, Felicity have built meaningful relationships within these communities. This is one small way we can express our gratitude and help support the people who have welcomed us so warmly. Participation is completely voluntary, but together we can make a meaningful difference. A portion of your payment goes back to an individual, group or organization who needs extra help within the community.
This is one of the questions we're asked most often. News headlines about Mexico can understandably make travelers hesitant. Like any destination, it's important to use common sense and stay aware of your surroundings.
Troncones is a small, peaceful beach community known for its welcoming atmosphere, friendly locals & expats, and relaxed pace of life. It's a place where people know one another, visitors return year after year and the natural beauty is matched by a genuine sense of community.
Felicity has hosted nine retreats in Troncones and owns property in the community, while Kim spends half the year living in nearby Zihuatanejo. Together, they have built trusted relationships with local business owners, guides, chefs, drivers and community members over many years.
Those relationships are one of the things that make The Wild Horizon unique. Every aspect of the retreat has been thoughtfully planned with trusted local partners so you can relax, feel supported and experience this remarkable part of Mexico with confidence.
