Your evening begins in the heart of Mérida’s historic center, where you’ll meet your local guide and stroll through some of the city’s most iconic landmarks before boarding a Va y Ven bus, just like the locals do, this short ride takes you beyond the tourist areas and into a real neighborhood, where your host awaits to welcome you into their home.

5:30 PM – Meet your guide at Iglesia de la Tercera Orden and enjoy a short walking tour through Mérida’s historic center and Plaza Grande
5:50 PM – Take the Va y Ven bus with your guide to the host’s home and begin your interactive cooking class while playing traditional games
8:00 PM – Sit down and enjoy the delicious appetizers and salsas you prepared together
8:40 PM – Transfer back to your accommodation or the original meeting point
