Embark on a half-day city tour of Accra, starting the tour at 8AM, visiting the Arts and Crafts market and the Makola Market, Accra’s biggest open-air market. This is a perfect time to buy some accessory pieces you may like to wear or use at the Afronation!

Part of the morning will be used to see a bit of history in the city before you head back to the hotel to get ready for the festival. 

Included in this tour is transportation, entry fees & English speaking driver/guide.

Depending on your choice of Afronation Ticket, you will head back to the festival for another time of fun. If you opt for a free day, we will suggest and arrange things to do for you.

A lot of fun was had - time to slow down and enjoy a lazy day as you please. Or, if you love markets, and need to do last minute shopping for your family and friends at home, this is your chance to do so. 

Later, enjoy nightlife out in the city and soak in your last night in Ghana.  

You will be picked up by our driver and guide from the hotel. Visit Kakum National Park, one of Ghana’s most famous parks. The Park is made up of mostly undisturbed rainforest and is one of the famous national parks in Ghana. It protects plant and animal treasures of the African tropical forest. The Canopy Walkway, suspended 30 meters above the ground, provides a treetop view of the beautiful forest.  

After this adventure, you will have your lunch on a restaurant in Oasis Beach. 

Next, you will visit Cape Coast Slave Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which was the departure point for Africans being sent to slavery in the Americas. The castle is home to the infamous "Door of No Return" From this point, you will drive back to your hotel in Accra. 

After a fun-filled trip, its now time to go home! Your driver will pick you up from hotel and drop you off at the airport for your flight home.
