Trek Timeline
● 05:00 AM – Your adventure begins with a pre-dawn pickup from your accommodation (or 05:30 AM if you're staying in Senaru).
● 07:0 AM – Depart Senaru for Sembalun Village, East Lombok, and get ready to tackle the trek.
● 07:45 AM – Registration and mandatory medical check at RTC Sembalun.
● 08:00 AM – Start your trek from the Sembalun gate, and begin your ascent through the stunning landscapes.
● 11:00 AM – Arrive at Pos.1 "Pemantuan" (1,300m AMSL) and take a well-deserved break to rest, rehydrate, and snack.
● 12:15 PM – Reach Pos.2 "Tengengean" (1,500m AMSL) and enjoy the surroundings.
● 13:15 PM – Stop for lunch at Pos.3 "Pada Balong" (1,800m AMSL) and refuel for the final push.
● 14:15 PM – Embark on the steep ascent to Sembalun Crater Rim, known as "Plawangan Sembalun," and witness the breathtaking views.

Our guide Anton was so patient with us as we walked up the mountain, and all the transport was organised so efficiently. We had the best experience and felt fully supported the entire time even when we needed to shorten out trip from 3 day hike to a 2 day hike. Couldn't recommend Jou Trekking more to anyone thinking of hiking Rinajni.
