We are beyond excited to offer our first Musical Immersion Retreat in the US this summer. Come join us for a weekend of music and harmonies, singing and toning, and frolicking the gardens, meadows and forests of Raven Crest in upstate NY. 

We invite you to connect deeply with the birth place of many Tribe of Love songs and experience how nature can be your muse and inspiration for your creative journey. 

We will offer a voice workshop lead by Maryn to help open up your sacred instrument. Jan will introduce you to the magic of harmonies, and Susanna will share how to write your own medicine song. Our days will begin with a morning chanting practice and end around a bonfire sharing stories, improvs and songs. 

The experience includes beautiful accommodations and freshly prepared delicious meals with locally grown vegetables. 

We will be steeped in sound and music during this rejuvenating and inspiring weekend together. This is a small and intimate event with time and space to attend to each and every one of you. We can't wait to share this very special time with you!

TRIBE of LOVE:

Ancient medicine songs from the Peruvian Amazon, written by plants - called icaros - have inspired the melodies of the Tribe. Their intention is to heal the body, mind and spirit and to open up pathways to help us feel our deep connection with the beauty and wildness of the Earth. We invite you to close your eyes and get carried away, by waves of healing plant vibrations and harmonies written by angels.

Susanna Raeven is a singer, songwriter and musician whose focus lies on ceremonial music and sacred instruments. Her songs are inspired by landscapes, animals, plants and the essence of places in nature. She has been tuned into the healing sound and power of the didgeridoo ever since she listened to it for the first time. Susanna is looking forward to share her deep connection to plants, Raven Crest's land and music at this retreat. 

Jan Paul Werge is a singer, composer, performance artist and mediator of music. Deeply inspired by the universality of music, he composes for contemporary dance and theater ensembles and has performed in Germany and abroad since age nine. He shares his broad and deep knowledge from over 30 years of professional experience on stage in selected workshops and retreats.

Maryn Azoff is a long time singer, musician, Spirit lifter, Soul emancipator and fear crusher. She has been on a mission to connect people all over the world to the power of their voice through a unique program and healing modality she created called ‘The Vocal Transformation Method”. The goal of her work is to reawaken the innate intelligence of the body-mind-spirit connection through the faculty of the human voice.  

Patrick Surdam is a singer, Guitarist, songwriter and Charanguista. He has been writing music and performing in bands for over 20 years. His recent musical focus has been on studying the Charango - a small ten-stringed instrument, widespread throughout Andean regions.

Patrick is deeply devoted to his spiritual path, which is rooted in Tibetan Buddhist meditation practice and Mestizo Peruvian Shamanism. He is excited to share his diverse influences and gifts at the retreat.
