Juan Carlos was an excellent guide - we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience with him. He went at a good pace, we never felt rushed and he took us to a lovely coffee shop in San Juan before our hike back to Santa Cruz. Thank you

What a unique hike! Juan Carlos was the kindest guide and could tell us a lot about the environment as well. Also taught us some Spanish!! Advice: bring more than 1L water, as it is an extensive hike. We ran out of water but this made Juan Carlos suggest to go a small village behind the peak. This was also a nice little detour, which I wouldn't have missed! Also pickup arrangement from our lakeside hotel in San Pedro was possible for an extra fee, but this made us very happy!

Benjamin was a kind and knowledgeable guide! We learned a lot and also enjoyed a wonderful walk to start our morning. We saw many birds and also learned about local plants. We did not get breakfast but ended the tour in Jaibalito where there were many good brunch options.

Great tour.! Our guide Domingo was amazing! We had two senior citizens in our group for part of the day and he was so helpful and accommodating. Very knowledgeable…. Gave all kinds of interesting information and history about the area. He also got us reservations at great local spots even on during a holiday. The three teens in my group say Domingo is a”W”.
