About this trip

A nine day adventure through Uganda, fondly known as the 'Pearl of Africa'. With 18 primate species including mountain gorillas & chimpanzees and well over 1000 bird species, Uganda is an absolute wildlife haven.

The journey will take you through the swamps of Mbamba in search of the prehistoric looking shoebill stork, trekking through the jungles of Kibale to walk with and photograph wild chimpanzees and culminating in one of the most rewarding wildlife encounters you could wish for. Exploring the rainforest of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - home of the noble mountain gorilla. Nothing will quite prepare you as you look into the faces of these fuzzy black titans and as they gaze back with unmistaken intelligence and something oh so very familiar...

This expedition has been carefully curated to expose you to wonderful wildlife whilst importantly putting its well-being first and foremost. You'll gain a deeper understanding of the natural world and appreciate its fragile intricacies. Along with a trusted local driver, I'll be hosting and privately guiding you throughout your time in Uganda as well as being your photographic guide - with subtle tuition I'll be on hand to help you craft a wildlife photography portfolio of your journey.

I look forward to you joining me on this journey to a simply mesmerising corner of East Africa to discover all the beauty she holds in abundance.
