We had a good time on the one day tour. Guide was good. 
The lodging was a disappointment.  Rooms were very basic, sparse.    No amenities.  Small. No refrigerator.  Food was fine.  Buffet offered many options and appetizers best of all.  Staff was friendly nd helpful.  The lodge needs n update and better description on line

We had a very nice stay at the Hotel del Paine. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and within easy walking distance of the restaurant. 
The best feature here is the location and the incredible view of the mountains of Torres del Paine. 
Our vist would have been even better with two additional features:
Wifi in the rooms
Meals with a la cart orders in addition to the buffet choice.

Del Paine. Elizabeth, Enrique and Gonzalo and the rest of the staff were incredible. So friendly and helpful. The food was off the charts good, we were blown away by the quality and variety of the food. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

Service from everyone was excellent. Location was very convenient. Outlook to Torres Del Paine was terrific. Food was also excellent. 

I question the need to use 3rd party to secure initial payment when all subsequent payments were simply handled by credit card. 

Also, hotel sewer system required to deposit soiled used sanitary paper in waste basket. This is not hygienic and gross and should be improved.

Hotel del Paine was a wonderful place to spend four days while exploring Torres del Paine. The rooms are simple but all have spectacular views, the food is terrific and varied, and the staff unfailingly helpful. Highly recommended! We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was to our satisfaction. The room was a little older, but everything was very clean. We had half board, which was good because there are no restaurants or supermarkets in the vicinity. Breakfast and dinner were served as a buffet, which offered a lot of variety. The staff was very friendly and courteous in all areas.
We can recommend this hotel without reservation.

If you are driving on your own there is a risk of the flat tire and Rio Serrano is very close to this hotel and that's the only place where you can fix your flat tire so that's one big advantage I found but it was great experience very beautiful location all the rooms you can see mountain

Great food, and it was so convenient to have 2 meals included. Obviously the location is spectacular, being so close to the park. The lodge rooms were dated but comfortable. The high and slippery shower tub was dangerous, and the bathroom in general in need of an upgrade. Even knowing this, the closeness to the park made this a win. It was quite pricy, but a better value than the other nearby hotel we also stayed at, as Hotel del Paine included a lovely dinner, and a better breakfast.

What a beautiful location - the view on the river was just gorgeous.  We're so glad we stayed here.  The people were also just incredibly nice, and very helpful.  Staff was always courteous and kind.  Good people can make a hotel stay a good success.  We really appreciated all the options for the breakfast and dinner buffets.  One small criticism is that the main entrees of meat were a little overcooked, and it would have been nice to have better meats to eat.  But there were so many different kinds of food on the buffet, all of which were very good, that we were never hungry.  I might also suggest some more generosity with the drinks - the glasses of wine were small portions, and it might be nice to include bottled water or a drink with dinner.  But it's a financial decision, so it's just a comment on what could be improved.  We really liked our rooms - they were comfortable and clean.  We would definitely come back again, and we thank the staff for making our stay so nice.

Amazing location. However the dinner buffet din not meet my expectations at all. Specially I shared my allergy and dietary requirements weeks ago while booking the dinner. When on site they did not have a clue a person like me will appear. When I asked to get non chilly and gluten free food the staff told me to pick salad and gelatine as a dessert. A bit pricy for what I pre-paid.
Will not recommend you further.


Pre-order Fjällräven Dinner service Dec 8th

The buffet was a big disappointment. 
We had preordered dinner after a 4 day hike and arrived tired, exhausted and hungry - ready for good food and wine. We handed in the food ticket and went to the buffet and put some meat on our plates. After this, there was only empty platters. When we asked about more food we were told more food was coming in 5 minutes. 20 minutes went by before more food slowly one by one was put on the buffet. So we ended up with cold and chewy meat and had to go to the buffet several times to check for the food. After eating an unsatisfied meal we went to the buffet for dessert, but also this had run out - we were told there was no more dessert. All this was before 19.00 (7pm). We paid $76 USD for 2 people. Definitely not worth it! 
If we had had the energy after this we would have asked for a refund. 

Nice atmosphere, but a rather weak food selection for the breakfast buffet.

We loved our stay. The staff made everything so easy for us.
The rooms and communal areas are so comfortable, the views are spectacular and the buffet meals are phenomenal. Great options for drinks at the bar and lovely place to enjoy a drink at the end of the day.
The hotel makes everything super convenient as they will organise any excursions for you and pack all the food/drinks you need for your day.

I usually don’t write negative reviews, but unfortunately this dinner was a major disappointment. There were very limited food options, and considering the number of people expected and the tight schedules many of us had, this was especially frustrating. When I arrived, the buffet was nearly empty, with extremely limited vegetarian options.

Because the 7:00 p.m. shuttle was approaching, I tried to take food to go, but the staff were quite rude and attempted to restrict how much dessert I could take. In the end, I barely ate anything because the buffet had not been replenished.

Paying $50 for what was essentially a nonexistent dinner, combined with unfriendly service, was very disappointing. I would not recommend this experience. It’s better to skip dinner here, have a drink instead, and find food back in town.

Absolutely stunning place to stay with easy access into the National Park. Warm and comfortable accommodation. There was a good range of delicious food for breakfast and dinners. Staff were friendly, especially the young man that greeted and checked us in.  A bonus to have the gorgeous foal that wondered about interacting with us . Thank you for a memorable few days at this unique place.

Meal tastes great. However, I thought it was buffet and I got stopped when fetching desert as 2nd round. I didn’t overtake any food, and just separated main and desert.. if the dinner is defined as set course, it’s better to make it as meal box in advance.

The first tour where we went to Torres Base, our tour guide, Alex, is very good and very patience. He monitor and made sure we are ok along the hike and kept checking on us. He was a very kind and responsible guide and also gave us some information and knowledge about the place.

Our second tour to French Valley was ok. The tour guide always walk far ahead of us. I understand he was concerned on the timing but it seems like he is always far ahead and we just hike on our own. Not much interaction.

I’m not sure the hotel recognized what they signed up for. Trekkers are hungry and exhausted which can make it difficult to know when you will arrive, wake up, etc. The hotel was not forgiving or hospitable for those that did not pre-order food or book a hotel room…they wouldn’t even sell a cup of juice in the morning. 

The hotel was beautiful and would book a room if returning. I’m sure their hospitality is better that way. 

Staff from Hotel del Paine are really customer oriented. Looking forward the well being of their guests. Hotel has a good infrastructure, wonderful view from Serrano River and from the Cuernos and other mountains. Staff members did their best to improve our experience sharing their knowledge about region and helping us with everything we need.

I hope to back to stay in that hotel.

Very much enjoyed our stay.  The room was comfortable and the scenery was wonderful.  The food was great.  We did a number of excursions from the hotel, and spent several days fishing with Cesar, who was a wonderful guide.  We thoroughly enjoyed the excursions as well.

Summary:  overpriced for what you get.

Pros: 
1. High quality food.  The buffet was large and high quality, with a ton of choices for meat eaters and vegitarians alike.  The locally grown greens were a highlight

2. The view.  It was stunning.

Cons:
1. Inability to adjust the temperature in the rooms.  You have zero control.  The day we arrived, it was 30 degrees celcius in the room.  
The day we left it was 17 degrees.

2. Lack of refrigerator in the room

3. Coffee was weak at best.  I'm actually convinced they use decaf in all of their machines.

4. Prices:  simply off the charts for everything.  $8 beers, $250 excursions, $360 each way to and from Puerto Natales airport (in a Sprinter van).  By the way, you can get a taxi each way for $70.

5. Excursion failure:  we signed up for the French Valley full day tour and went to the ferry with our guide, only to find ou there were no boat tickets available.  Shouldn't the excursion operator have verified ticket availability beforehand?  We then had to substitute a lower quality excursion that we didn't really want to do.

6. Internet was super slow and only works by the front desk.  Would it really be too difficult to buy 3-4 range extenders so we have wi-fi in the rooms?

In the future, I would stay across the street at the Rio Serrano instead.

Nice, down to earth establishment, incredible views of Torres Del Paine, kudos to the Chef from Brazil and Francisco Ferrari at Reception for standout customer service.  Only suggestion would be to clean up after the horses in guest walking areas.
