The Gothia Cup is the world's largest International youth soccer tournament, with nearly 1,900 teams from 80 nations participating annually.  The Olympic style Opening Ceremonies hosts over 50,000 fans, players and families in a speculator show of celebration, music, and fireworks.  In addition to the Gothia Cup, players participate in the pre-tournament friendlies in Orby and Varberg Sweden, guaranteeing 6 matches while on tour.

Flight to Denmark from Portland International Aport 

We will arrive in Copenhagen and board a luxury coach bus to transfer to Orby, Sweden. 

Our first full day we will spend acclimating to the surroundings and time change, and kicking off our first matches. 

Match vs international guests or a local teams, hosted by IFK Örby

We will travel an hour by private motor coach to the beach city of Varberg.  While there, we will do some sightseeing and shopping, and play a match against a local Swedish team, hosted by Varberg BoIS.

Depart Orby and transfer to the Gothia Cup.

Players will check into their school accommodations (school location TBD).

Parents and families will check into central hotels in the heart of Gothenburg. 

Group Stage matches - 3/4 games in the first round of tournament play..

The Gothia Cup 2024 opening ceremony will be Monday night with over 50,000 participants in Ullevi Stadium.

The tournament continues with finals on Saturday. 

We will take a celebratory trip to Lisaberg Amusement Park and Paden Boats Gothenburg Harbor Tour.
