Join us for an enlivening adventure in Antigua, Guatemala!
Led by seasoned traveler Calen Otto, this unruly group trip will take 6 - 11 participants to Antigua, the magical town surrounded by volcanos in southern Guatemala.
Over the course of 9 days and 8 nights travelers will discover local plant cuisine, Indigenous culture, and other-worldly ecosystems through food tours, hikes, hands-on workshops, and beyond. Activities include: "bruja potion making" class, vegan street food walking tour, cultural tour of San Juan La Laguna (Lake Atitlán), healing sauna, overnight volcano hike of Acatenango, coffee farm tour, spa activities, and more.
Our tour takes place just before Semana Santa (Holy Week), so we'll be able to observe some of the cultural festivities without the intense crowds. Consider extending your travels past the end of our trip to observe Semana Santa in full color!
PLEASE NOTE: The hike up volcano Acatenango is strenuous, but there is an option to ride up in a truck or skip the experience altogether and go on a gentler hike instead.
🌿 This trip will encourage community-building, human creativity, cultural immersion, healing, and eco-minded adventure.
