You'll start in the capital of Zagreb for a delightful deep dive into Yugoslavian history, then wind along the coast of the Adriatic's largest peninsula with sea views for days.

Days 1-3 Zagreb/Varazdin
Venetian Croatia from Zagreb to Pula
Day 1 - 3: Overnight in Zagreb
- Kick off your journey across northwest Croatia with a walking tour of Zagreb's old city center, a welcome dinner at one of the oldest restaurants, and a party at an old Yugoslavian museum
- Our local guide Darija will pull you deep into local history with her one-of-a-kind cemetery tour, and our friend Antonija will have you laughing and cheering as she shows you the city like only she can, in her small fleet of Yugos.
- Get to know local life as you split into small groups for dinner with locals
- Head to a little-known and marvelously uncrowded castle in the hills, then wander the streets of the beautiful village of Varaždin

This was a beautiful trip rich with information about the gorgeous country of Slovenia. Tina and Julianna did a wonderful job planning out the tour while staying flexible as weather and opportunities shifted. We got to see and taste so many different things I'll be dreaming of these experiences for years to come. They really do a great job. Highly recommend!

Fantastic! Slovenia may be small but it has so much to offer. The food - from the in home experiences to the Michelin restaurants - was flavorful, tasty, savory, satisfying, delicious and just heavenly. So many charming towns with gorgeous scenery. And the wine!! Truly a treat for the tastebuds. With Tina as our tour guide, we got to see her lovely country through her eyes. CleverDever Adventures tours are backroad trips that take us where others do not. Plus, we got to see the main attractions as well. Love traveling with small groups and sharing this experience with new friends.

This trip was beyond anything I could have imagined. My preconceived notions about Poland have been torn down. We got to see the real Poland, her beauty, just some of her hidden treasures (to see more would involve a much longer trip), her culture, and to meet her amazing people. The tour group are now friends with each other because we were able to share this country together, and we shared much laughter and really good food.
